I’ve now watched the Direct several times and I am STILL completely speechless. My expectations were so so low, and this surpasses everything that I’ve even dared to hope for. The way Nintendo came through for us!!!!!😭

@@-Oddish- depends on when development started and if COVID was in Japan before America. I don’t know if it was or not tbh. Not only that but it’s the same team who works on Splatoon and Splatoon 3 just got announced. It’s possible to they were working on two games at once in COVID conditions. That and this update is huge, the gameplay for the DLC is completely different from base game so that could have taken time too. A lot of what was in this update was probably planned for earlier but didn’t make the deadline/needed more work done to it before release

Honestly stopped AC around the end of last year (with the hot tub glitch?) and I went into this direct with zero expectations. I was genuinely blown away and kept yelling with each reveal lol.
Nintendo has successfully dragged me back to Animal Crossing 😂
I stopped playing last year too and I just restarted a new island due to the update

My best friend and I are obsessed with acnh and was waiting all day so see this. Her and I had school today but my dad messaged me and told me her and I would be screaming. I did a google meet with her and I shared my screen so we could watch together. She is newer to animal crossing but I have been playing since the start of acnh so I was screaming a lot more then her lol. I couldn't say more about this update its all that we wanted. So happy im off on the day the update comes out. Can't wait so see what this amazing community comes up with!! Have a good one:D

I am living for all of these reaction videos! It makes me so happy! I was jumping up and down and shouting at the screen just like them when I watched the direct, my partner tried to calm me down several times! I keep watching these reaction videos to relive the feeling and I cannot wait till Nov. 5th! I have not been this excited since I was a little kid waiting for Christmas and wow it is such a wonderful feeling!
