    Have a Typhoon 230. After that explanation, I now completely get independent amplitude. TY. Awesome!

    I bought my first tig/stick welder (prime weld tig 225x AC/DC) last year and it's been a game changer for me. It's quiet impressive how these briefcase size machines have so much versatility and power

    Jesse, this is so exciting! I just got my 255 EXT this part year and such a new welder that I am not sure if I’m even good enough to be able to do this machine justice but when the time comes, I’ll certainly upgrade. This looks great. I’m excited for you and Everlast as a company. You guys are really doing great work.

    Jesse, when will 230s start shipping out? Also what are major differences between 230 and 330?
    When is your live event?
    Thank you.
    Pete

    • @everlastgenerator

      230s shipping out the end of the first week of April. 230 vs 330 is just power output. Looking at scheduling the big live event with the typhoon possibly the last week in april

    I don't know if I need the water cooled part of the Typhoon but I'm loving all the features this has. Do any of your other units have these features without being water cooled?
    The video was great in explaining the independent amplitude. I've never heard of it before this video but I feel like I understand what it does now! 👊

    it would be interesting to see the differences when at more normal balance settings, on clean material as well as grungy cast.

    • @everlastgenerator
      @everlastgenerator  ปีที่แล้ว

      Running a higher balance just shows even more so how much the amplitude adjust helps to conserve tungsten life, it’s positives are even more pronounced at say 35% balance

    It looks like there is a visible difference in the oxidation layer burning off. When running 50/50 or 2:1 EN:EP, the oxidation burns off orange, when running 2:1 EP:EN, the oxidzation looks to be burning hotter with a blue color. So it would seem that orange burnoff is ok, but if its hotter; which blue would indicate; you're going to be in trouble/too hot. Thoughts? And another question, what is the difference in effect on the HAZ? is a low EP/High EN going to generate less heat than a High EP/Low EN? Would that affect the brittleness of the aluminum in the HAZ enough to affect the finished product?

    I just bought a 275 Lightning and would like to know how to use advanced pulse. If you get the time to throw that into a live steam I'll buy you a beer.

      Does your 275 have the independent amplitude feature?

    • @everlastgenerator
      @everlastgenerator  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@replyhere590 the MTS 275 does not have independent amplitude and waveform. I think we have actually done a live stream going over the advanced AC pulse. I know there is a regular YT video of it for sure though
