    Super job in showing this example. Iam wondering if it would be possible to spot weld a thin nickle strip to a ( battery 1860). Or would this unit be an over kill for this job( work piece)

    So with a higher pps/hz, do you need to speed up the higher you go? Seemed like on 1 you were much slower than on 3?

    Maybe an odd question - could this be used for repairing cast iron - lowering the overall heat input to limit thermal shock?

    And what about cold welding Tig, it's possible to do with a pulse setting or it's a different machine?

    • @everlastgenerator
      @everlastgenerator  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need to integrate a cold wire feed system, but you can certainly have a pulse process with cold wire feed.

      I think is not that, if you search "cold welding machines" you see I don't know if is Tig but it's like a high power and fast pulse and no filler.
      Thanks for the answer!

    The pulse feature on my 255EXT makes my aluminum beads look a lot better ("stack of dimes") than I could normally do on a non-pulse AC machine. I'm looking forward to your description of the Advanced AC Pulse mode on this machine, where it's best used, and how to get the most out of it.

    Questions A) do you guys have any sales or coupons going on for memorial day, and B) why do the Nova kits vary in price so much....all the pedals are the same 22kohm and the torches and connections are mostly the same, but you charge double the price for the 160h Nova kit vs the 185dv kit....I'm confused...

    This is great information and I'm sorry to see only 17 views. Hope you hang in there doing videos. Welders mostly pass on good info with "word of mouth" I shared it. Don't be discouraged by low views initially. It takes time. We know good info when we see it and the work you put in. Hang in there buddy. It will grow.
