Robs honesty and integrity is the single best quality of his videos , you know if the product is genuinely good if he rates it, not just "i was paid to make this" bs . New riders might buy a light ebike but actual ebike riders ride full fat in my exp , only new adopters can get suckered into an SL generally speaking, unless they are very light riders say 55kg then it makes some sense. in 2018 Focus had a full fat ebike with twin batteries , it was so far ahead of its time its still a very good bike to this day apart from the shimano whine which makes older bikes very dated now. Integrated gearbox and belt drive on full fat is the future, as is new battery tech that will reduce weight or allow so much range you will be cooked before the battery.
The Problem with E Bikes Once Bought is the Value is Gone after a few years,The manufacturers Should Offer P/X To Get them back in to Recycle the Whole Bike and You Get a New One at a Good Discount,Its What happens With Cars,If a E Bike has No Value After 5 Years of Use People will Stop Paying The High Price and Sales Will Go Down

It’s a real issue I also have with the industry. Something needs to change but it’s gonna take time
