I'm mixed (half black, half white) and a few months ago I was talking to some white man and he didn't believe that I was half white; he was adamant that I was 100% black and merely lying to him, even though most people (or I at least HOPE that most people) would clearly see that I'm a lot lighter than people who are 100% black. It's as interesting as it's tragic how so many white people believe that people of colour are lying about their racist experiences. If you're white, would you tell me why is that? Why don't white people believe people of colour?

Our skin is Earth Camouflaged to blend us in with nature because we're the originals and have been around longer than clothing. Brown is mother natures most used color. It's hatred from her own society, and the racist beauty standards it programs into people. So called "white" people get all of the positive media promotion while people of color are always depicted as some unattractive stereotype type. When they want a white person as a lead actor/actress in a blockbuster movie they go out and find the best looking white person on Earth at the time. For black, or Asian, leads roles they usually choose our average, below average, or a mixed person to represent us. I see racist programming in all forms of U.S. media everday, all day. I’ve dated outside my race and I realized it’s not for me. Too many issues. I love my white people and my white women. I’m proud to admit it too.
My friend has been harrassing a kid in our 6th period because she has had a mega crush on him for three years. He's rejected her so many times and has asked her to leave hin alone because she is getting extremely touchy and makes him feel uncomfortable.
What makes it REALLY sad is that it's only because he's Asian and she's obsessed with Asians. She even says white is 'bland' and black is 'ugly'. She harasses other asians too, saying that 'their bodies were basically made for the pleasuring of others.' He's just her favorite, apparently. I have tried to tell her that there is more to somebody than their race but she gets mad at me whenever I bring it up.
I'm still dealing with this problem. It's not exactly MY problem but I have to deal with feeling extremely bad for the poor kids she won't leave alone, simply because of they way they look.

I don't. I prefer dating outside my race, I prefer doing that than being with my race, it's not insecurities or anything. Everyone just expects you to marry someone in your race, marry a girl who's the same nationality as you so I don't really find it interesting anymore. I want someone just opposite from me. I've liked black girls all my life so when you see a new race or girl with nationality you get interested in them and want to be with them because they are different from you. It's like a regular burger and a cheese burger. You only ate a regular burger all your life, when you finally discover a new burger you like you'd eat that more often now. Idk how to explain it well. A next example is like when an Asian part want their child to be a doctor since 5 year old and that child kept trying to achieve and found out he like a different career much better. I've been to thailand a few times and my ex was thai. Every single time i spoke with any of her friends, they referred to me as, 'farang', which mean foreigner. When i went to Thailand, lots of times, i was referred to as 'farang'. I live in NW London. Some of the indian people living there go out of their way not so speak to white people. Humans are so complicated
No one dates someone just for the color of their skin. It’s usually not the only thing that makes someone attractive. But it does play a part. Physically, I’m not attracted to darker skin than me. I won’t date a guy just for having light skin, but it’s a strong preference.

People don't realize that when you fetishize a certain race, you're being incredibly disrespectful and not taking into consideration the individual. I primarily would find Asian men attractive, but it's not a fetish, simply was a preference. However, I was never opposed to dating any ethnicity if it felt right. I’m a black woman who doesn’t get offended when asked where I’m from. People ask because I look different from the native white population and are naturally curious . White people with accents or foreign sounding names get asked the same questions too. So it’s not about colour. A white person in Africa would face the same.
I’ve never had any issues with people touching my hair nor for noticing that my skin gets darker after my hols. I’m not offended firstly because there’s no offence intended. Secondly, because I’m not some hypersensitive weakling who moans about the tiniest slight.

I don't even get where the skin colour argument came from, any racist can tell you that skin colour is one of the least relevant aspects when it comes to race. Race is about ancestry, genetics, bone structure and facial features.

My friend and I signed for one of these because I thought it would be really funny - I’m Malaysian and she is black, it was really gross - the amount of times I was basically fetishised (mainly by white people) was horrible and my friend barely got any matches, even though we used similar photos of ourselves and the same bio - this world is really terrible
