  • A quick guide on the best ways to get wood and stone in Valheim, these methods have helped me make a huge village, and many other medium to large builds, so I have been using them for a LONG time, some methods are more passive, but I truly believe these are the fastest ways to get resources in Valheim. within 10 minutes I was able to get 800 wood and within 5 minutes I was able to get 500 stone. both of these methods are great and I have got uses out of both of them over the 1200 hours I have in Valheim
in this guide, I aim to show you a Valheim How to Farm Stone Faster tutorial as well as a Valheim how to Farm Wood Faster walkthrough within the same video, it's not the most mindblowing method for veterans but for newer players, but showing the best way to make a Valheim tree farm, will hopefully be pretty helpful.
I hope you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching.

well, I used to make A lot of gameplay guides on this channel, and I wanted to share a somewhat building related one,
everyone needs resources, and for a long time I gathered them for every build,
meaning this is a truely tested method that iv used over and over again. I hope this is helpful for your larger projects, and thanks for watching as always.

The tree farm works even better if you make a shallow concave depression . . . like a bowl. The slope will cause all the outer trees to fall inward toward the center of the farm.

There have been many tree cutting tips similar to this, but because of the presence of tree stumps, additional labor is required and this makes them less efficient than just going to the forest and cutting down trees.

I did think about making a guide style video showing what you need to go from the start of the game to the end, it might be something I do in the future but Im still figuring out what I would like to do with it.

I find the best way to farm stone is to hit those large rocks in plains. (tho they will run out)
However, you can also make a straight path in mistlands if you are planing to set up farm there. Just breaking 1 hill will take a while and you will also get loads of stone. I used this tactic to get a lot of stone for ashlands to raise ground.
Trolls can also be used, but they are better at tree destroy duty.

    Good tips. Good video.
For me it's simpler. I enjoy farming the trees.
I make sure to have at least 9 chests for the wood, to just drop off after my recent journeys.
I also use "wood," and "stone," portals to farming locations (like your tree farm forest).
I rarely need to plant the trees but when I do I have them right next to my tree farm portal with lumber protecting it from direct impact. Trees do low damage to fences.
And you can go through portals overloaded with wood.

or... make a wolf breeder above a graydwarf spawner. Dig a hole under the spawner. Have 2 wolves designed for breeding in a tight pen, their cubs will spill out. Make a hole in the floor and sorround it with beams. The cubs can't fall through and only the mature wolves will fall bellow with the graydwards. The wolves will kill the graydwarfs and the graydwarfs will kill the wolves. Infinite wolf meat, pelts, wood, stone, ancient seeds, dandelions, graydwarf eyes and pukeberries. Oh and trophies too.

I did loosely touch on the auto farms with those spawning mechanics at the end of the wood section of the video, but personally I find its a lot of upfront investment, and then you have to afk somewhat close iirc for things to spawn in.
it is a top tier way of getting resources though. and if you have the time to set one up and afk there I would definitely recommend it.

With the wood, it's even better if you manage to find a troll nearby, or use the new Trollstav from the ashlands to get one, and get them to do all the work for you by just standing near the trees while they mash them to bits

i use the same method for stone gathering, but i like to mine those big stone monoliths in plains biome. it is more comfortable for me, because plains biome is more flat, while in mountains biome mined stone usually roll down the hill and is scattered all over the place.

I’m pretty sure you lose some of the total stone you were able to gather when you destroy its connection to the ground. This is the fastest way, you lose so much

    • @ZerosterGuides
      @ZerosterGuides  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@bradmyst1339 Im not entirely sure if you do lose any, there would be a way to test this but im not sure If id do it myself.
by making a backup save and manually mining a rock to see how much you get,
then revert the save and break the rock using this method, you could see what the difference in total stone would be.

Valheim (Can add lots of detail.)
