He is an INCREDIBLE actor. I think - I know - he's the best I've ever seen, and I've been watching him (and many other great actors) for 40 years. No one else really comes close, apart from one or two maybe. But they're all gone.

It’s interesting because one of his most terrifying characters, that of Hannibal Lecter, was so understated- he never even raised his voice while conveying pure evil.
Yes, sometimes exceptional things happen when you go against your own nature. This feels like another piece of evidence to support that.

He’s a brilliant actor. I know many would laugh at how overly intense he can be, but that is exactly why I love him, he has this fire to him, that means even his more ridiculous and over the top (Adolf anyone?) performances can still be taken seriously. And then when he wishes to contain the fire and play it quiet, he does so with ease. Hannibal Lector would be a perfect example.

I knew No 1 the moment I've seen the title of this video.
Lecter... the only time he shouted was when he was said... 'I don't think Miggs can manage quite so soon even though he is crazy, GO NOW!!' and also 'Clarice, your case file!' so only real, actual climaxes. And that's why Hannibal Lecter's superhuman - he keeps his cool, and that makes him not human.
He held back on his performance of Hitler! Seriously, though, convincing. The eyes the voice, the madness, could have been the very incarnation.
He's classically trained. That's an advantage, voice-wise. And he's handsome. Also, you know what? I've never seen any of his movies except his performance as Lecter in 1991, last Tuesday.

Hey Down Chunder, thanks for all the vids, early on with the OJ videos I have really liked your videos, as someone doing part time TH-cam videos you have always had a really good production value, best in the game in translating audio only content to TH-cam, you understand that niche of the medium perfectly, better than I've ever seen. You don't show off either but your work is always great. Your humor is great too, I really needed that Brian Blessed Flash Gordon video after seething with hatred after watching the pure evil playlist. I see you too see the ugliness that humans can come to be & like a lot of other people vent their anger at the predators, if you gotta be angry might as well be at the most literally unbelievable people on earth.
How such a person can ever come to be will constantly baffle. You deserve more subscribers. Also, if it's helpful, I found you originally through watching 1 or 2 other OJ videos & though I subscribed I only came back through chance of a Savile related video, never in my recommendations or sub box even though I was.
