Well. He obviously isn't saved, going by what he said here. So God hasn't blessed him. But I really hope it happens.
For you to assume to know such a thing is hybris. But you shall be forgiven.
He has said many things that doesn't instill confidence that he is saved. I don't remember the exact wordings but it's along the typical lines many say. "I think there's probably something out there but we can't know what it is." And if they go from that to believing in a god it's a false one that they can understand and agree with.
Believing in a anonymous god doesn't get you saved. Hoping there is a god doesn't either.

yeah, I was amazed by him. In that show, young actors are dying putting their all into scene - and they're really good. But then camera switches to Anthony and it seems like he's really living in it. I guess that kind of experience comes with years. all tough I haven't seen movies where he's young

Westworld was one of the best shows ever and Anthony Hopkins was the glue that held it together.

Best "shows"? I prefer the original, and I doubt very much that you've seen even a fraction of the best films made.
I met Anthony Hopkins forty years ago and I asked him if he would help some of my patients who suffered from addiction and or depression. I was amazed that he agreed and helped people to quit, gave money and more importantly his time. A truly great man.

I adore Anthony Hopkins. He is so talented he leaves me in awe. Seriously.
He's got an extremely positive outlook on life more so than a lot of younger people today unfortunately
He still gets scripts at 79 because he's one of the greatest actors that ever lived. Every scene he is in, the eyes are riveted on him...every gesture, every pause...a master acting class.

Why wouldn't we want old actors. Ian McKellen, Helen Mirren, Max von Sydow, Michael Caine, Diana Rigg, Morgan Freeman, Maggie Smith. The list goes on, old actors are amazing.

Merrill Streep; Dame Judi Dench; Frances MacDiarmid; Juliet Binoche; Vanessa Redgrave; Jane Fonda; Ed Harris; and so on . . . Amazing is right. It takes a lot of inner resilience to survive a life of such constant insecurity and vulnerability. Not everyone does survive it for long, but those who do are usually pretty damned admirable, IMO.

Tony is an incredibly good man, I help people with alcohol and drug problems. I met him and asked if he would visit a couple of actors who were in trouble. He did and with his generosity ensured they were financially secure and also found them jobs. A remarkable man.

He's lucky that for his iconic portrayal in almost every film has rendered him safety from being cast as a grand-father or father-in-law in films but rather an experienced innovator, scientist, philosopher, etc.
Of course they still want you Hopkins. You are a legend in acting.
One of the greatest actors of our time. I didnt really know much about him besides Hannibal but his Westworld performance alone has made me love him forever
He does free speeches at local schools and colleges where he grew up for drama and media students. Hes such a humble, quietly spoken man it comes as a bit of a shock at first after some of the roles hes played.
@@SleepySeel I think he found a natural outlet for any negative potential that he carried (we all carry some) in those rôles. That sort of thing can be cathartic for the actor as well as for the audience.
in a way anthony hopkins will be imortal because his movies and performances are so amazing people will be still watching them hundreds of years from now

I don't know what it is about his voice in certain circumstances but when he does Hannibal and now In the clips i seen of Westworld his voice absolutely makes me melt.. like shivers up my back and knees weak.. I don't know that will ever change.
he's so charasmatic and draws you in with wit and intelligence but is completely humble with it one of my favourite actors of all time.

I wish that one day I can be as free as Anthony hopkins is in his acceptance of death. It freightens me very much so to think about, but I think, I hope, one day I can be at peace with knowing it comes.
To not fear death at all is a liberation.

"For me to be around today is astonishing". Well... in fact it is, which just mean Mr. Hopkins IS an astonishing actor. Despite how familiar I am with his performances, my jaw dropped over and over again when watching Westworld. I so wish he was coming back for the second season, but somehow I doubt it, and perhaps, for the sake of plot coherence, it's for the best. No ex-machinas for such a great series, please!

Well, nobody believed it then either, Mr. King. You were a part of my earliest childhood memories, your show Larry King Live was a frequent guest at the television in our house. And as you kept going, we got to the point where we expected you to live to be as old as Methuselah, 969 years. But, it’s 2021 now and you are no longer with us. I am sad that one more celebrity from my childhood is gone, but I am also happy that he had the opportunity to talk with Anthony Hopkins and hopefully this chat between them helped to reinforce Larry for the final chapter of his life. You did an interesting, informative, and even entertaining shows. We already miss you.

Anthony Hopkins didn't play as Robert Ford. He played as Anthony Hopkins, because I literally can't tell a difference in personality between the two at all.
Chase H. This is much more nicer.
The difference are just 3 essential characteristics.
Ford is a nihilist, has a horrendous view of humanity, Anthony lacks both of those qualities.
Ford has a god complex (semi-justified one tho), Anthony is extremely humble.
Ford is a pessimist, Anthony is extremely optimistic.
I would pay thousands just to sit down and talk with this man, one of the best actors to ever live.
