    Hey man,
    Read the manual first before saying it doesn’t work. I didn’t see a ready light on the jump unit. You need manual override for a totally dead battery.

    Motomaster Eliminator is a Canadian Tire Brand manufactured under license from Nuoco a major manufacturer. The Power banks work well and every home should have at least one. When connected and used properly these boosters work extremely well and offer extra value for emergency conditions during power failures etc. Emergency lighting, signalling, and USB charging. Invaluable at a decently moderate price!

    Must use manual override on completely dead batteries. I just used it to start mine and it worked fine.

    The clamps did not have a good connection. When the unit is powered on at 2:298s, if it was well connected to the battery posts, the 4 LED lights would have started "chasing." But they didn't; they all lit up solid which was basically just telling you the power bank is 100% charged, like if you had powered in ON and it wasn't connected to the battery.
    When you pressed the Manual Override button, it "forced" ON the jumper power BUT you still did not have a good connection to the battery so.... of course nothing happened.
    You can see in the subsequent video you posted that, when you had a good clamp connection, the LEDs began chasing right away and.... successful boost.
    In my experience, many of the failed boosting attempts with jump starters is because of a poor clamp connection to the battery posts. Your jump starter could be nuclear-powered, but if you don't have a good connection to your battery, it's powerless!!

      No, that’s not the case it doesn’t jump start your battery if it’s totally dead or I should say totally drained. I had to borrow Schumacher battery charger to charge the battery from my neighbor but again after 1 day the battery won’t let me start the car but it still had some power but not sufficient to start the car . So next time when I used this power bank it worked

    SHUT YOUR DOOR! And let the booster charge the battery a little bit, wait a couple of minutes, then jump start.

      buddy boy didn't read the manual.
      these things are meant for fully dead batteries. the manual override button works in only a small percentage of cases that are not actually fully dead..
      in the end, these devices work as long as they are able to provide enough starting amps for his specific vehicle and battery.. and next time never ever let your battery drain completely. that's just not normal.

    You need to push the brake pedal down before the car will even start normally. For most of the video where I could see your failed attempts you were not on the brake pedal (4:33m), you need to push the brake pedal down to start all vehicles! Or pushing in the clutch like I must do on my car with a standard transmission. It’s a safety feature!

    Never have door open when starting dead battery and shut off all electronics etc and wait twenty seconds before the attempt..You probably need over 1000A for the jeep ,that look like a 600A

    I don't like these lithium-ion boosters because they have a fuse in them to prevent over heating, which means if you try to start your car too many times the booster may over heat and even start to smoke, blowing the fuse, which you would have to take the booster apart to replace the fuse, and from what i've seen the fuse is in a terrible place, very hard to replace. Plus you have to look for a new fuse to buy. Many people would just buy a new booster.

    • @jbaris
      @jbaris ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The manual says not to try more than 5 times within 15 minutes. The fuse is there to protect the unit from ppl who don't read the manual and do what you said by trying to start too many times.
