I had my tooth pulled the other day and decided to go cast a line at my local lake and nailed a monster two foot hold over rainbow trout. Since I could barely eat I made him into a stew and it was amazing. Love the video man

You need to do a tutorial on intro into floating rivers. Covering the basics, safety, researching the river and reading rivers( know what to float and what not too).

I camped and cooked at the top of the pc Sand dune 😂 we had a party 🎉 for a friend and I ended up talking two of my friends to camp at the top for the night pacific city , Oregon, sand dune lol that’s how I think I haft to type it in to look it up but it was amazing . if I could catch a steelhead and maybe a fresh 🦀 Dungeness to go with it then go camp and cook there there would be perfect the video for that would be so amazing .

Heavy valuable metals are usually associated with the volcanic activity of the region. Basically superheated water comes up from beneath the earth and as it runs through cracks in the rocks, the dissolved minerals stick to the walls of those cracks as 'precipitates'. They form these long bands in the rocks called veins. Bet that's what they were lookin for.

Had a similar experience after getting oral surgery hooked a nice steelhead on 6 lb test forgetting they just released them in the river that day lol

I think the best catch and cook was when my wife and I went camping on a river with a super fishy couple. We had cowboy steaks and trout kabobs. Epic.

The siwash hook is a must on most lures. The stock trebels are trash on most smaller spoons and spinners, lost me a few nice ones cause they got bent.
Never use stock hooks period. Upgrade split rings too on baits that have em
