Jordan, drop some dryer lint into a cardboard egg crate and pour some melted wax over it. as soon as it cools break off a few egg pockets and place in a ziplock and put in your tackle box or glovebox. they will light in a driving train storm and stay lit in 40mph wind plus they burn long enough to start damp wood. Boy scouts 101. Thanks for all the great content!!!
It's more fun watching you suffer in the cold and wet than me actually doing it. Although I just about froze my hands this evening icefishing for trout and 'gills. When I got home after the outing the outside thermometer showed three below zero! I did catch two keeper rainbows, but no keeper bluegills.
Started watching your videos to learn how to get started with trout fishing. Have a couple of young grandsons who seem very interested in fishing. I haven't fished at all since my childhood days with bamboo rod and bobber. Anyway, began with one of your how to get started videos and was so entertained that I've now watched several. Just wanted to compliment you personally for your presentation and the quality of your videos.
I gotta say, I love the special bobber down shots with the helper arrow. It reminds me of hockey where they highlight the puck so you can actually see what is going on. Also, "you can tell it's a cedar by the way it is," 😂😂😂. That's one of the neatest things on the planet!
Absolutely love these catch n cook’s brother. You have single handedly gotten me checking my local trout reports, grabbing trout gear, and totally focused on fishing for trout this winter - thanks so much for sharing all the knowledge with us 🎉
That's awesome my first and only steelhead catch after 4 years trying, was tagged. I too released it. I'm addicted just not the best at it. Your videos sure help though. I'm still stuck on a dirt cheap budget anything from Walmart type haha but it's fun as hell still. Thank you for all the videos Jordan 🤙🤙
I love the fact that your doing bushman crafting, I love it please have more of these videos on this channel, and it can help others to use what nature has for us.
Thank you for that Lenny Pepperbottom nod. Either you have been reading my comments or I'm not the only one making that comparison. lol. Keep the videos coming. My girlfriend and I watch everything and she got me a big box of Addicted trout gear for Christmas.
Also wanted to say THANK YOU! Your tips have put me at the top of my game. I limited out today and had to switch to walleye while everyone else spent hours scratching their heads. You guys simply have steelhead covered. Bottom boucing big water with home cured spawn bags, big juicy bags. Tight lines fellas!
New subscriber here. Found you through NWFS. I am really enjoying your videos. I appreciate the fact that you are a respectful, ethical and hard working fisherman. I love your dog too! Keep up the awesome work! 🐟
From the midwest but went out to Springfield, OR this spring to go steelhead fishing with my nephew and his buddy. Got totally skunked (they just weren't running) and it rained incessantly but we did catch some cutthroat and kept throwing them back because we were so singularly focused on Steelhead. Next time I'm keeping them to fry up after a cold rainy day. Looks so good!
jordan thank you for all the fishy videos that you put out.i really enjoy your humor and attitude on the river.i also really like the catch and cook videos that you have done.love it good stuff brother.and to answer the question of the day...yes i think jordan should and will do good on his own show/s.he brings knowledge and humor into one and makes it fun to watch.good luck jordan on your new venture.
Just got introduced to you tonight from a sportsman employee who was helping me learn some things about fishing as I wanna start fishing. So amazing to have you! I hope I can learn so I can do some columbia & other little rivers & lakes in our area! Gonna give the Cowlitz a shot when I watch more videos & learn how to do a bit more!
Just fished the Sacramento River in Redding for the second time 1st cast had a strike and 2nd cast had one on right up until I got him out of the water. Honestly perfect and so cool but I love these videos so much they really help
@@landonf3796 Yes I agree. Those fish were not jacks but native wild baby rainbow trout smolts (besides one with the tag it was cutthroat trout), they were going to the ocean includes the one he ate! They stay in the waters and slowly adapt to the salt water before heading out to the ocean and slowly getting silver.🙂Jacks' are usually one year old that return too early and 16 inches or more long and counts as a steelhead at least here in NW Oregon.
Reel to tighten line BEFORE u set the hook gently or u might not be so lucky for LUNCH😜😜. Awesome video with Awesome scenery. Keep Up The Great Work 👍 👌 👏 💪 Yazmin Venice Beach CA ⛱
Man the content that you deliver is so legit it's the only thing I have right now since I live in Colorado and all my local fishing holes are just frozen solid and with no ice fishing gear I'm left to sit here and watch addicted fishing all day and get jealous lol 🤣 thinking of taking a couple hour drive to go Target some Browns this weekend though so I got that to look forward to lol right now is the coming off the spawn for Browns so they should be highly aggressive and looking for food
Kaapai video 👍 maate.. bushcraft 🎿 skills are awesome..'a-naturell' fella..nice commentary n pic's.. explanation on sum species o' trout n 🎣's ..rig's used .. t's primo an enjoyable to maatakitaki-ai.. watch.. kaapai presente raa Jordan.. awesome 😎✌️🙏🤙 Kia ora..frm NZ 👍
Who thinks Jordan should start his own TH-cam channel? 🤔
Yes
He already did! It’s called addicted fishing😜
Should be named “Jordan and Little on Big Adventures”!
Fishing, cooking, outdoors, YES
That would be very sweet! But would he still be as active with Addicted??
Jordan and littles adventures are always entertaining
"Thank you fish." Absolute respect. I try to always thank the fish I catch before dispatching them.
Sincerely appreciate all the work and effort you guys go through to make these adventures happen!
