Nice setup, that Sunstar seems quite nifty.
I have a Simplicity 6216 but I'm looking at getting a used Sunstar or legacy so I can put a Johnny Bucket on it.
Is it true that the highest setting for grass cutting on the Sunstar is only 3.5 inches?

The Johnny Bucket is no longer available for the Sunstar. Check with Johnny Bucket company for other tractors that they still make buckets for. As for the height for grass cutting, I have never used the Sunstar to cut grass so I couldn't say.

Why are rear wheels covered.....just picked same machine off of marketplace for free and mine doesn't have the covers

Those are weights. Necessary for better traction when using the bucket or a snowblower.

Nice tractor your weight on back looks like a large pipe flange i have seen something like it at a scrap yard

The previous owner put that on. I had another guy who wanted to trade me for some suitcase weights. No go. I like the fact that it doesn't stick out very far. Fits on the trailer better. Thanks for watching!

Great setup. Do you have any info on the ballast you’re running on the back of that machine?
I have a similar sized Troy Bilt / Bolens GTX20 with the Bolens loader on it. Works great, but the wheel weights aren’t enough and i need to cobble something together to hold ballast on the rear.

I picked up this rig at an auction as is. I don't know where or what the large round chunk of iron is on the back. I have a John Deere 214 that has liquid in the rear tires just like a farm tractor. My local tire shop only charged me $20 to add the liquid. (I know that I got a deal because I give them a lot of business). Thanks for watching.

I bought it at a local auction. It also came with a snow blade for moving snow.

Not to bash but it helps to get off the throttle when back dragging and tip a little bit down with the bucket…👍

I did a lot of playing around with it since this video. I learned a few techniques. Thanks for watching.
