    I bought two ‘90s vintage riding mowers without decks for just this purpose.
    Thanks for the video.

    I am in the same situation, big enough jobs to want some power, but not nearly big enough to require an actual tractor. Neat products.

      They really are some great products. Sometimes it is not worth the effort to bring out the bigger tractor for a smaller job. This new setup is very good!

    Hello, I just ordered a Husqvarna TS348XD. I am in the market for a front mounted dozer/plow blade for dirt and snow. Any recommendations? I see more snow blades on the market but I am assuming they don’t work for dirt? Thanks for your videos and time.

    • @FarpointFarms

      Husqvarna makes a "Dozer blade" for that unit. Johnny products also makes a Johnny Plow. Both are good units.

      Thanks for the reply. You have experience with the Craftsman GT Dozer blade 48624410. Will this work as an all season plow? If so, will it fit the tractor I have on order. I need to rewatch your review. Thanks.

    So wondering if you were able to service the transmission? If so, how. I am looking at this unit and also the John Deere x370. The Deere has the k58 tranny vs the k66 on the husky. The dealer here was kind of pointing me towards the Deere mainly because he feels it is built better, but also because the tranny is serviceable where he said he did not believe the husky was. In any event, the husky $4600 delivered to me, the Deere $5000 delivered. Interested to know your thoughts. I drove both, and they both seem solid to me.

      It may not be cheap, but take the cost of it, plus a good Riding Mower, and it's still 1/4 the cost of an entry level SCUT type tractor.

    • @FarpointFarms

      I Don't recall, but it's not a deal breaker. Lifting too much with it usually hurts the tractor, and not the bucket.

      I saw a picture of a hole. I’m sorry if I’m wrong but I would like to see a video of a two wheel drive husqvarna lawn mower take that bucket and dig a hole like that in virgin ground like that picture. If that’s the case that’s the best thing going. Thanks for the reply.

    • @FarpointFarms
      @FarpointFarms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@brandondillard2306 While I can totally appreciate the desire for you to see me do that, I don't currently have a need to dig a hole on my property. I did use this to move a large retaining wall 4 years back, and it did work fine. That was my older Husqvarna GT52, but they are pretty much the same. The job was like the photo, but instead of digging downward, I dug into a hillside. Still worked, but much slower that a "Real" tractor like the Kubota we have now as well. Since we got that, I use the Johnny bucket mostly for farm type work and hauling feed, lumber and such.

      @@FarpointFarms Hauling Feed and Lumber... what are you feeding chickens and moving twigs... come on man! Either buy something with real power or just use good old fashion manual labor.

  • @dudet9176
    @dudet9176 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    This product is such a waste of time... you have any idea how long it takes to get anything done with using one of these! BUY a real tractor with a loader and get things done in minutes instead of hours... If your extremely cheap then buy lift arms and install them on your lawnmower. After all the hassle of installing, paying for these attachments and hours wasted you'll still end up realizing... "I should have bought a Compact Tractor".... if this product works for you then great but this is not meant for heavy duty task.

    • @FarpointFarms
      @FarpointFarms  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Let's agree to disagree, not everyone has the money to spend on something like that. It is very narrow minded to assume that people have or want a compact tractor.
