    Just bought these for my 22 Honda Civic hatchback and I’m confused with the front splash guard with the top screw, on my hatch there’s no screw it has a plastic clip and in this video it doesn’t show the installation for the top screw for the front splash guard it just shows the person screwing in the screw?🤔

    Thank for this video - I was not clear on how that metal clip needed to be install for the rear splash.
    I was not sure if it need to be exposed on the outer side now we know the right way.
    Thanks again.

    Thank you for these videos. Very easy to follow and always an awesome job done. I would love to see a spoiler installation video on a new 2022 civic hatchback.

    Would the installation process be similar to say a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback EX-L ?

    My 2017 splash guard needs replacing. Any help on where to get this cheap? Please link. Thanks. I am having a hard time finding the right part.

    Just made my own video on how to install these on my SI , pretty easy following the pdf file

    In the instructions it says to cut the fender i don't see you guys doing that. It that part unnecessary?

    For the front splash guards the video mentions to use a 3rd screw. I don't see a hole in that top area. Are you supposed to remove anything to screw the 3rd screw?

      Go to our product page to view the PDF instructions. That should help make things clear.

    Where would one find the parts diagrams for the 2022 Civics? Need a new rear bumper bracket. Thanks

    Is it common for one or 2 not to sit completely flush? I bought some and have loosened/pushed them in then tightened, but still not completely flush

    • @CollegeHillsHondaAccessories
      @CollegeHillsHondaAccessories  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Quite common actually. We put splash guards on every new vehicle that arrives and we notice the same thing and not just on the Civic. Unfortunately we cannot explain the exact reason.

      @College Hills Honda good to know. I was concerned cause the instructions say they should sit flush.

    Where did you get that handheld power tool?

      It’s pneumatic, if that’s what you meant by power tool

    The PDF instructions on your website direct the cutting of the rear fender cover. That is not shown in the video. Is it unnecessary?

    • @CollegeHillsHondaAccessories
      @CollegeHillsHondaAccessories  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not 100% necessary but you can judge for yourself during the installation.

      I went ahead and cut it out using just a pair a scissors. It turned out great thanks to this very helpful video. Especially when it came to the trick of moving the guard over and marking the spring clip reference so easily. Thank you.

    I didn’t get that metal clip when I ordered this from you, so I just zip tied it. 🤷‍♂️

  • @paulff3

    Unfortunate Honda came up with that spring clip solution. You have to damage the bumper to mount the rears. Hard to do to a brand new car.

    those make the car look ugly, those things look best in trucks, but that's my opinion.
