So glad the squared / L shaped gauges are gone. Please tell the higher ups to bring back the temp gauge as a option to view in the settings. I know some dont care, But many people would like to see the current temps. I had a car that had a cooling issue, I was able to pull over when I seen the temp begin to rise about the middle mark. No warning light just me looking at the gauge. Saved my engine.
Honda civic is a great car, I plan on upgrading to this generation once prices go down in the used market, I have a civic lx from when they still made them with the manual transmission and it's still running strong with only a few issues with 451,000 miles on the clock.
I just bought a new 2023 Civic Sport. The dealer had a 1997 Civic in the showroom on display with 500000 miles on it. It said if you take care of it It will last.

Just bought one Friday! Upgrade from my 2007 Honda Civic LX. It's a great car for people Who don't need or want all the "fancy" things that cost quite a bit more on the sport and touring model.
American Honda has been shipping vehicles (selected models and trim levels) out without the BSI or blind spot system due to the chip shortage. They have done a price adjustment for those and put BlindSpot Delete (BD) on the window stickers. I haven't had any of my customers share any issues with their 1.5T engine in my five years.
That was correct. During the original release date of the 23 Civics, the lx trim was not offered/available. They changed their mind a few months later.
I bought a new honda civic lx 2023 in April , I have 4450 miles on , today while I was driving suddenly it started to knock very bad , I will say like a very loud gun shoot , first I tough I have a flat tire , I pulled over , nothing. I did not have the chance to call the dealer to take in yet , anybody any idea what caused that ? nothing notifying me on the board either, thank you Also when I turn off the air recirculation button I noticed it started smell like rotten eggs

I was glad Honda decided to keep the lx for another year. Hybrid will be here and a base could cost considerably more. My sport touring was 31,250 +tinted windows black badges weather and wheel lock package. Life time tracking anti-thieft. 3k. Extended warranty 1,500 T.T.L almost 5k. Add it up and yes i paid 40k for a civic. I here I could have done worse. I actually saw all that exactly at another dealership and they wanted 5k more.

No arm rest or cup holders in the back!!!! And no pocket on the back of the front seats?? That's ridiculous.
Is that only the case for the LX?
Yes it changes on higher trims and I have videos for those as well

Is there any issues with the 1.5 engine? as its commonly reviewed. And why did they removed the BSIS (alert)?

They have done a price adjustment for those and put BlindSpot Delete (BD) on the window stickers. I haven't had any of my customers share any issues with their 1.5T engine in my five years.
The 1.5l have problems with gas getting in the oil and also head gasket problems. You are better off getting the 2.0L engine.
