Ordered my first Shakespeare Micro Spinning rod earlier this week and got it today. I ordered the 6'6" light rod. Putting a Lews 200 spinning reel on it. I watch a lot of youtube and ran across your videos today and saw your review of this rod. I just started bluegill/bream fishing. I see you are from around Tyler. I am in Wichita Falls and been to several small lakes looking for a good bluegill/bream lake to bank fish from. I retired about 5 years ago. I enjoyed watching some of your videos. I subscribed and liked several of your videos. Keep 'em coming. I also like to camp.
Thanks for following along and for your comment. Occasionally, I do get a back spool, especially if I don't take slack out before I start reeling in. I think it has more to do with the size of spool, rather than this specific model. ~John
