It's sad to see a wrestler from the Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression era like JBL selling out his own kind and caving to the marks. What an absolute coward.
I love how he talks about how he "got in a fight" with Steve Blackman at an airport. Uh no, Steve Blackman nearly killed you at an airport and forced you to apologize to him in front of the entire locker room
The product has changed for the better. The stories are more serious and not so cartoonish, in ring work is taken more seriously and storytelling is better. We didn’t get feuds like Punk & Drew under the last several years under Vince,
We should expect nothing and more of the same, which is unfortunate, but that's the reality of wrestling in current age unfortunately. If there are any changes in effect then I'll be surprised.
It's so funny people still dislike with such animosity Vince Russo, who gave us that unique and tough attitude era. Man i loved Hitman vs Austin. I was a huge Bret fan and thought those matches were real and vjolente
Vince was partly responsible for the death of WCW. He booked great in WWF because Vince could greenlit everything and if something was bad it didn’t make it on screen
When RAW went from 3 hours to 2 hours it hurt the Wyatt Sicks and lots of others momentum. They have a plan for the Wyatt Sicks and if Vince Russo was booking it I’d be even worse.
Russo is dead on about the Netflix deal. Iv been saying it since it was announced. Once the honeymoon face is over it will be rough. Rumours are rock is not even wrestling at mania. So they two big matches will likely be cena vs Rhodes and punk vs reigns. Not very good at all. I have zero interest in any of that. Not to mention on top of the 8 hours a week programming. They do a pre and post press conference after the long 4 hour events. It’s literally a 8 hour day night thing for every event. Way too much watered down product.
Their relationship will sour quickly. Raw has constantly lost hundreds of thousands of viewers from hours 1-3. Netflix has a completion rate in place for all of their content and that determines whether or not their shows are renewed or cancelled. Netflix has no idea what they're in for with the shower of garbage that WWE has been putting out on their weekly tv for the last 20 years.
Lots of fans seemed invested into seeing Punk Vs Roman which would be a huge money making match. These comments are filled with old school fans that can’t get with the times
@@mikebones4428 Punk is definitely not overrated. He’s great and probably always will be great on the mic. He’s put on lots of good matches since returning to wrestling and had some epic feuds. Punk is in the top 3 biggest draws in the entire company so fans must love him
I heard it was meant to be Austin v Hogan, but Austin had a grudge against Hogan, and refused to work with him. Years later at a WWE Hall of Fame, Hogan saw Bret Hart, and offered him a handshake. Bret was about to shake Hogan's hand, when a voice shouted "Don't shake his hand, Bret!" It was Austin.
@@jasonalexander7089yeah hopefully all that money helps improve their streaming. I find that a damn shame honestly since they been making billions of dollars.
Product has been good to be with WWE. I’ve enjoyed Punk & Rollins feud and last Monday was really good for there segment. People like Bron Breakker, Ludwig Kaiser, Carmelo Hayes etc have delivered big time and will go even further this year,
I can’t take Russo serious when he says Bron Breakker is the worst name you can ever have. Obviously he doesn’t want to go by the Steiner name and he’s talked about that.
I expect 1.4-1.6 million viewers to follow them to Netflix. I expect nothing short of what they've done on USA. I expect no real competition because AEW is very niche and not a serious #2.
Well if the ratings were high then he would be proven incorrect in his outlook and philosophies on wrestling. So if he's making a living off of this then someone must agree with him. Remember that women's college basketball is setting traditional television viewership records in this era. So people definitely still watch traditional television if a good product is on.
A whole bunch of nothing. When they have no incentive to even trying due to the multimillionaire guaranteed contracts they signed, you see laziness and safe booking every week
No need to have "accountability". No writer in wrestling says "I was trash, all my ideas were terrible, etc." That isn't realistic,. You don't see Cornette giving historical perspectives on smoky mountain bankruptcy, or the wwf's mid 90s struggles. Same with Paul Heyman or Bruce Pritchard and their "shortcomings"
@DiversityJackson I’ll agree with the Cornette opinion, he’s as bad. The rest I have heard them ALL say at least some of their ideas were the drizzling shits. Not Russo, ALL his ideas were great and NO confrontations were his fault.
Happy New Year bro! Cheers to another WWE free year. Haven’t watched since the Attitude era and won’t start now. Love the show bro
You certainly are better off!
Shawn was always the cool one in DX as seen when they interacted with Cryme Time. Even the extended members of DX had more swag than HHH.
Happy new year 🎉 vince we can expect more of the same from wwe as long as noseman is still booking the shows.

everything for money

What can we expect from the WWE in 2025:
To get some good sleep while watching 3 hour Raw or SmackDown
2025 making 1995 look good by comparison 😁
So as always, Vinny Ru fans can start it up at 7:00

Hope Paul Heyman takes over for hhh Heyman can book some good shit on raw
Im not obsessed about wrestling it's just entertainment too me When my favorite wrestlers loose I don't get upset like my favorite spots team

Vinnie Ru about to spit some knowledge!
totally agree they killed the wyatt 6 they cant do charecters anymore

Hey what happened with JEFF LANE? Did he leave the Brand? Loved his shows with Russo!
Gunther sucks Russo

That’s not really been the case this year. We’ve gotten really good stories with Punk & Drew, Sami & Gable, Cody & AJ, Cody & KO and many others.
