Hey Dave you are so so respectful and very informative trying to explain their life... love your videos ! Looks like they had everything they needed in life but seems like mom lost her way. ! Very very sad for what the kids may have went through . Keep up the great work, your New York Fan 🙏🇺🇸
Who knows? Whatever happened that bungalow must have been a gem in its day. I especially loved all the daughters 80s stuff, it certainly took me back to my 80s as a teenager. Wow a hell of a lot of stuff in there it was so nice that you took the time to put all the trinkets and jewellery back in the trinket box you are so respectful of the time capsules you find and by the way why didn't you rescue me the big carved dresser in the living room. So much beautiful stuff decaying it's so sad. Thankyou dave for yet another brilliant video xx
I love that Country Roads touches every corner of this beautiful Earth. That song makes me cry. Always has, always will. Thank you for that little bit! Made my day!
You hear of kids that have told their parents “when I’m able to leave, I’m never coming back”, some say it and don’t mean it, others do mean it. Such as this video, kids left and never came back. Some kids may want to come back, but due to their situation they’re unable to. The heirs may have declined the inheritance and the city/town hasn’t done anything with the property. Lucky for us the homes are still here for viewers to see 😊 I’m subscribed and love watching your videos, I love the content and seeing vintage items, sad to see the items left like this. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Utah USA ❤
They may have died on the streets who knows? But deserve an inheritance. Probs nobody can contact them for whatever reson. Could be institutionalised or have no fixed address
I love that channel. You are so respectful and empathic. I love how you try to solve the family puzzle, talk about your reaserches. You are very passionate about this and it shows. Im from Quebec, Canada, we have a couple ghost town such as Gagnon Ville and St-Octave-de-l'Avenir and a few others. If you travel by here, I'd love to ear your story telling about those places... Dave don't worry or listen to the negative comments as you always respect the explores in abandoned houses I all ways enjoy watching your explores mate 👍
Dave, dont take it to heart about those few who complain about you looking through belongings. Your so respectful and 100% take care of everything you touch. If their that way inclined thinking its wrong... they need to stop watching explorers and go watch cooking shows. sorry to hear of your nan passing. Ive lost all my family, mum dad and sis, its tough. Loved this explore with the other 2 guys. funny enough - at time of watching this... in 5 days its easter and that wallpaper with the rabbit and baby chick fits the part. haha. take care x till next explore
@@tofurakhanom2644 if I understand british law correct it is not illegal if the property is abandoned to do this. Dave is put in a tough spot, some want to see what's in the cupboards etc, others don't. For me it becomes wrong when explores start taking things or vandalising stuff. You have to ask yourself this, if tomorrow a homeless person finds an abandoned house and this person lives there, but at the same time also looks after the house and even would fix some things in the house in exchange for staying there. And it bothers no one, not even possible relatives. Who would you be to say this is wrong? Legally, Dave does nothing wrong. If it bothers you so much, I suggest you stop watches these shows, but then I would be kinda like you. But the truth is, it's people like you that ruin things for everyone, including Dave. Be well.
I think it's ok to document the abandoned homes because otherwise these people might be comepletely forgotten. Some people care enough to know about the way people lived in the past.
Hi Dave Dan & Andrew... fabulous time capsule . Still cant understand how everything is left! Loved your little stories ,😅 TFS. great video.. love to you Mark & families as always ❤️

Loving some new houses. I still rewatch all the older videos but always enjoy new things.Im 70 and have lived through a lot of what you come across, toys, mags, customs, wallpapers, clothes . Often recognise things you can’t identify. It’s fascinating .
How av them pictures on wall stayed sooo clean. Am amazed. I would love to be there it looks brilliant..I used to look after an old lady who was 100 year-old. Her wallpaper was across instead of down. I loved looking at her old things fascinated I was.
This was such a great explore David, nice to see some of your mates from the Japan visit. Didn’t you also go with them on one of their paranormal videos in a Castle? Such a sad place, it must’ve been really nice back in the day. Thank you for taking us with you, and as always, be safe❤
Dave, you are so respectful every time you go into one of these "time capsules". I love your excitement especially when it comes to cars or something from your childhood. Having been norn the year before you, I too remember those things and it makes me smile as well (like the Nokia phones, was my 1st phone). Keep doing what you're doing, especially because it makes you smile 😊 Take care and stay safe.
Getting an eerie vibe with this one Dave 😮could definitely do with a little light dusting around the place before you move in 😂such an interesting exploration , with the history and as usual your respectful of these properties stay safe❤
My Aunty left a house abandoned in Ireland after her beloved Jack died. Aunty went back to England. That is why photos in these abandoned homes matter so much!!! Maybe one day I'll see her photo? I was told the story by my uncle???
OMG this breaks my heart. I believe during her grief, a demonic spirit took over her mental well being. Turning her children's love into sonething that appeared evil to her. Or possibly tricked her into believing that the only way she could save her children was by hiding them away with discipline that possibly became brutal. So incredibly sad. One minute a happy family destroyed by the death of their father. Sadly, this reminds me of my own childhood. Not all kids are lucky enough to have that "perfect family" or a happy childhood . Those are the kids who need to be excepted by their school mates the most but end up being bullied because of their parents. And... that makes being bullied even more devastating for any abused child. This is the same era I grew up in. ❤️🙋♀️🇺🇸
Why viewer discretion? Usually when you see this level of religious items it’s due to unhealthy fear and paranoia. After hearing the history at the end it’s evident the mom needed mental health help and that’s probably why the kids never returned. Very sad indeed.
It's extremely common for Irish catholics to display an abundance of religious iconography, I have witnessed it in the homes of many catholics of Irish descent in England, I personally always found it a bit macabre
