You know my friends grandpa was my barber. My friend wanted to be one. His family didn't support his choice. I hired him in my shoe store when I was a young guy...and in the back he would practice on peeps. I let him use myself and his friends to practice. He kept doing it..and when he did go to barber school and finished..his family changed their tune. He had it built into him from his grand dad, and that was his passion. All these years later I feel proud to have been one of the ones that helped him on his life journey. He is a really good barber and moreso a good person that likes to elevate beginners instead of strike them down.

Dropping fire Marv 🔥 thanks for the content brother. I'm from New Zealand and started my barbering journey towards the end of last year at 36 years old. I'm currently halfway through my course and loving every part of it. I'm changing careers from highschool teaching to working alongside my wife who is currently hairdressing in our own shop

In your opinion, how lokg does it take to get "good" at cutting hair? Ive been barbering for a year, give or take a month or 2...and i feel like im not getting any better, no matter how often i practice my craft.
