    The sound is likely because for some reason windows will set the minimum processor state to 100%, when really it should be much lower. If you change this in your power settings even to 50% or down to 10% like I have, it will stop being so loud, while still being able to crank up if necessary

    What happens if I plug both cables included with the cpu to the mobo

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The USB will provide the ability to use other software such as MB Software, and the RGB may work for the colors with the MB RGB Software, they will both work together, just that up until recently they did not necessarily work well together. There have been a few updates since this video so things may work better now.

      @@sonyx7138 Only as in the video, where I use the Software and to control the Fan RGB, and using just the USB. Then MB Software for the rest of the RGB in the system. You can then go into the BIOS and set a fan curve to better control fan speeds.

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most recent Fans can get to 2000 RPM, but 1400-1600 RPM would be fine, but to avoid any excess fan noise will happen above 900 RPM. So test noise level after 900 until it's working the way you want it to and within that range. You can do any harm to the PC.

    I'm not a fan of the CPU mounting system that AMD is using.It's a royal pain, and if you are remounting the CPU with a fresh application of thermal paste, it can potentially cause uneven distribution of paste.

      Just use the USB cable not the RGB as that's usually what causes the area, however you could try unplugging all the cables restart and then shut the system down. Then put the cable back in and restart hopefully that might fix it. Try just the USB though.

    My buddy did all of this exactly. It worked perfectly while waiting on graphics card to come in we got the fans and leds up. Graphics card came in...pilot light lights up. None of the fans (wraith), graphics card, box come on at all now or light up but the graphics card gives me the good light (whitish blue) not red (bad light). I’ve unplugged and replugged everything. Any ideas?

      It's likely a conflict between the two software for some reason. I'd try getting the GPU up and running, and completely uninstall the Wraith Software and then re-install it and hopefully that will fix the issue. You could first try seeing if you can use the MB Software to control it all but it sounds like you tried that already.

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM

      Well the CPU Cooler Fan will vary it's speeds depending on what your doing, so it will slow and speed up at different times...I found it was doing that in mine, so I went into the power settings and changed the CPU Performance to 50% and that will reduce the CPU Fan revving up all the time and the CPU will still perform as normal...

    Just bought my dad a Ryzen 7 3700x and the idle temp is around 45-55 C and when running a simple youtube 1080P video it hits around +70C. If you go into the Power Options, go to your Power Plan, click Advanced Settings, scroll to Processor power management, change minimum Processor state to 50%, & Maximum processor state to 50% as well, it will still use all of it but will make the CPU Cooler stop the revving up and down all the time, when doing things it'll still use the full power of the CPU it just makes the fan quieter except when it needs to power up to cool things down like in gaming...hope that helps...

    Hi. I bought ryzen 3700x and msi mpg x570 gaming plus and I have problems with the temperatures. • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is normal, the X570 chipset's don't downclock and rather than use actual heatsinks, a lot of OEMs opted to have fans blow air over bare metal; and this we end up in the situation we are in, where the MBs now have a fan. You can change the fan profile though to help a little...Thanks...

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can go to PCPartPicker.com to check out compatibility for your components, but the CM Device issue is usually because you used both the RGB and USB cables, but if you didn't and only used the RGB, try using just the USB Cable only and it should get rid of this error message. Also if your using the USB Cable sometimes removing the cable, rebooting the PC and then turn the PC back off and re-insert the USB Cable as that has been known to fix it as well. Good Luck
