  • This screencast examines some alternative pipe reading options that might need to be changed depending on how the samples are created and supposed to be used. GOODF is a tool primarily intended for sample set producers. A "normal" GrandOrgue user just wishing to use a sample set they have bought from, for instance Sonus Paradisi, might benefit more from using github.com/Gra..., but anyone wanting to tailor an organ exactly to his/her needs can of course use GOODF.

Thanks @larspalo9427 for sharing this powerful and comprehensive tool.
I have a simple goal - to take the only ('main') panel of a sampleset and to slice off the left and right jambs to create additional panels. Could you describe or demonstrate the workflow to achieve this?

I hope here I find how to deactivate pedal "key" noise in the Friesach organ.
    Thank you for GO.

Well, that should be done inside of GrandOrgue itself instead. Even if the sample set producer didn't include an option for turning off the key noises you can go to the "Organ Settings" dialog (Audio/Midi - > Organ settings) and disable the loading, or just set volume to 0, for the key action noises that you should find somewhere in the pipe tree. This is of course working under the condition that the action noise isn't actually recorded into the sample itself - then it's permanent.
