On the hot tub hatch. You might want to more support using some aluminum angle. I built a bass boat from a bare aluminum hulll and used angle pressure treated wood and even added marine grade sealant to the deck wood. After a few years the extra support is needed. Just a thought

I think this is the best idea, he's talking about how a normal fiberglass hot tub drains so much battery, but that wouldn't be a problem at all if he just used the machine and a custom tub. I think that, besides looking nicer, a built-in tub would be safer with no gaps for people and small children to fall into, and he could mold in seats, armrests, and a step to get in and out

also you can actually make a "vent" system to avoid killing your electronic with 99% humidity all day long
and last but not least, if you want to have an "eye" on the bath tube, you can actually make a little "sub hatch" (A4 size) with thick yet transparent polycarbonate.

Certainly a rubber mat under the tub would help or fix this, also it would keep the bottom of the tub from wearing against the metal and tearing

I've been using drift for almost three years now! I think it is a little over priced, but they are definitely better than most other air fresheners. After a month and I get a new one, I take the old one and throw it somewhere else and it still makes that smell good for a while after. I put one under the sink in my kitchen for example! Also in the three years of getting scent of the month, I've only gotten one that I didn't like the smell of.

Should put a rubber liner on the inside of the box so any over slosh doesn't find its way into the insulation and cause issues in the future. i think a roll of pond liner glued, or some other fastener, into the box and then the hot tub put inside it. with water there are always issues so even though its all aluminium i'd still think hard about some kind of liner to make cleanup easier, especially as you haven't said anything about watertight sealing on the hatches for rain, waves, beer spillage, etc .

I really get that part about the shop around 10:00 .... You think you wanna work outside till you dont. Itll affect the welding, noise, moisture on steel, etc. Inside with no AC SUCKS and im there with you. I work on ACFT inside a hangar with no AC in TN. But when i have to work outside its on another level of suck. Think about it and try it before you commit.

You may want to consider a water to water heat exchanger between the hot tub and the engines. That would allow your engines to pre-heat the tub.

You see what i don't entirely understand about this idea is that you already have a metal shell, you could possibly just build your own HotTub inside that shell or just drop in a fiberglass insert hottub. But the inflatable hotub idea kinda makes me worry for several different reasons. Plus the 110 control box would need a waterproof box if it is going to be down there where water can splash on top of it. Lol

Maybe worth adding scuppers/ drains to the hatches as well as a seal to ensure it doesn't fill with water. I know you mentioned it will have a bilge pump in there but if that fails it wouldn't be too good for you.

I think you should add more foam inside the hot tub box. You only did the floor but the walls should be done too. I also think it would have been cool it you made it so the hatches could have been tucked into the open space under the floor.

We had a bad experience with Bestway. The pump/heater failed at 11.5 months into the 12 month warranty. I live in Texas and honestly used it for 3 months. We then had to wait almost 4 months for a replacement. The replacement lasted 2 weeks. Luckily Costco let us return it.

Its a pontoon. The point load of that hottub would kill the frame above the waterline. I dont see ig surviving long in that little box especially attached to the ragged edge of the middle toons but at least the water is supporting that for the most part
