Didn't expect this in Jakarta before, Jakarta was 3x wider than Amsterdam, it took at least 2 years to explore Jakarta, stop saying don't expect this in Jakarta, go to South Jakarta maybe you will be more surprised to see skyscrapers everywhere🤣🦶🏼

Janine.., PIK 2 China Town is not far a way from:
- La Riviera PIK2 Kota Amsterdam
- Pantai Aloha PIK2.
You should also visit both places when you are in North Jakarta.. 🤩🤩🥰🥰

Pasar itu klo di luar negeri namanya wet market. Masih ada kok di beberapa negara tapi gak seluas dan sebanyak di negara kita.
Setelah jakarta tidak menjadi ibukota ajan menjadi kota wisata tentu akan sangat ramah untuk pengunjung terutama turis luar negri

you can stay in Tokyo riverside apartment in PIK 2, there are other options in PIK 2 such beach, prayer garden, hangout for foodie ... in batavia cove you can drive a 3 wheel electric bike ... for malls ypu can go to PIK avenue, ofc the Central Park etc ...
while in trip to Bandung, you can go first to Puncak (Bogor), it offers zoo (taman safari), nicole park, or you can do paragliding there ...

If you are looking a residential area like PIK, you can come to BSD. I chose BSD instead of PIK. The place is more livable here. If you love food, Kelapa Gading and Summarecon Serpong is a place to go too.

Great content! But wow, PIK is massively different now!! I used live in PIK. I grew up there pretty much. There was nothing there but houses. Ah memories. I would get lost in Jakarta now. I live in the US.
so much has changed since I last visited. the nature and culture remain beautiful tho

Next time when you were in Jakarta, better to stay in wahid hasyim area (near Sarinah) in central Jakarta. There are many option for accommodation based on your budget. This area more tidy, clean, safe and near to many transportation options, mall and easy to find food.

*Welcome back, Janine. You should go to "the thousand islands". What local and foreign vloggers rarely do in Jakarta are the islands north of Jakarta, called "Pulau Seribu" (the thousand islands). You can stay in a bungalow in the middle of the sea, Wow! Hahaha just googling it!*
FYI: If you in Jakarta and missed beach or little island atmosphere, go to Thousand Islands (Pulau Seribu) by boat, they are located off the north coast of Jakarta , and the territory still belongs to the city of Jakarta, part of North Jakarta. It's means you still in Jakarta. This is what most people forget, even by Jakartans, that Jakarta has many islands and you don't have to go to Bali

PIK2 menandakan begitu seharusnya kondisi Jakarta yang mau dikunjungi turis. Janganlah Jakarta dengan kondisi kumuh, lalin amburadul, selokan besar dipinggir jalan tanpa ada trotoar sama sekali, PKL menempati penuh trotoar, jalan penuh sesak, dll.

janine go to cipir island (pulau seribu)the location is not far from pik 2,, cross the sea by boat ,, that's many recreation fishing,, white sand and many historical relics😁👍😎

Hi Janine, welcome to Jakarta and its great that you and your friend having a great time 😊 One thing I can advice is when you are taking motorbike taxi either Grab or Gojek, for safety reason better ask the driver to give helmet because the traffic and driving madness in Jakarta is so wild and more dangerous than few other cities lol. The accident risk is much higher here. Also be careful when filiming when you're on a bike, I suggest better not to do because someone could easily grab and stole your camera / phone, this kind of case is common in Jakarta and happened to my friend to. Anyway enjoy your time in Jakarta and do explore another part like the Central and South Jakarta, cheers !!
