Took some snap shots and threw some measurements on them just to add to your post. String angle at your draw length is 74 degrees on the 33 and 69 degrees on the 29. For those wondering. Pretty significant

Thanks Chris for putting out these videos. Super helpful. Do you know if the performance and efficiency of the cam is lost on the 33” model if your draw length is shorter? I am the same draw as you at 28”. I know this is a factor with hoyt cams. Thanks

Hey Chris, tuning question for you. I started off setting up my bow with the sting and arrow level and running through the berger hole. By the time I was done tuning (paper, bareshaft, and broadhead) I had moved the rest down a fair way. So now the arrow is a few degrees below level. Should I be concerned or just roll with it? Timing and axle to axle are perfect.

Im shooting a 75# RX-1 with 80# limbs at nearly 30” draw and that thing is aggressiveeee. Wondering if i should drop to 70# or stick to 75/80# limbs for my new rig because i know the new cam systems and setups are much smoother and more forgiving. Now im wondering if this bigger ATA bow i wanted to get into would be bad for us who saddle hunt, any thoughts on this? Im still new to the saddle game and yet to take a deer from it so wondering how manipulating this in the saddle would be

The difference between shooting a 29 inch and a 33 inch is how it fits you. For example a person with let's say a 30 inch draw that's shooting the 29 inch bow won't have as much forgiveness for him as the 33 inch bow. The string angle would be steeper for him on the 29 inch therefore it might not feel right at full draw and also the nock travel distance from point of release to point of leaving the string would be a little further. Now an experienced archer with maybe a 28 inch draw could shoot both bows and you would see minimal to zero difference in the shot groups. There are other people that can explain this better but this is my take. As far as saddle hunting the 29 inch bow will be more maneuverable

It doesn't matter if person is 28" or 30" draw higher brace height will be more forgiving to errors, question is how much. Just as well, would be interesting to see saddle shots with 33 and where the size limits useability.

Noob question: Does the difference between axle to axle distance affect max range? Could you shoot a longer distance with a 33in than compared to the 29in

in theory the shorter ata will give you more fps so that equals shooting longer distance. Bows now are so advance that they are close in fps that they will all shoot the same.
