    Love thisss 💕 i have an A5 diary journal which I'm having a hard time filling up but I'm kinda slowly making myself comfortable by not filling them and just to continue writing everyday even if its just a sentence, and also I find that i have a lot more to write in the mornings rather than in evenings. My planner spread changes every week 😅. Still trying to find something that'll work for me. Btw thank you for your vids, i really love watching them.

      I feel like A5 is such a daunting size and if I ever were to use it I definitely wouldn’t fill each page, so this definitely makes sense. There’s no rush in trying to figure out what works best for you, hope you’re having a good time with it!🥰

    Sometimes if I don’t feel the writing, I sketch or decorate the page and continue from there

    I LOVE how your HON looks, I’m so tempted to start one myself! Can I ask - do you ever feel like you have more you want to write in a day? Has there ever been a time where the a6 size was too small compared to the standard tn size you were using?

    • @untitled_paintings
      @untitled_paintings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! Good question, it’s something I was actually quite worried about myself. It has definitely happened a few times and I’ve had to squeeze the last of what I wanted to say in a couple short lines, but it’s never so much to make me consider switching to a larger book.
      On top of that, the standard tn is still there for me to use whenever I need it, so if it ever happens that I had a lot going on in one day and need more space to expand on that I can always write a brief summary in the Hon and write pages and pages in the TN! For example, say I go visit some place over the weekend and take a lot of nice photos and have lots to write about, I’d just pick one to stick in the Hon, write a brief summary of where we went, and then talk about everything more in detail in the TN.
      The primary reason why I wanted to try a dated book for memory keeping was mostly to have a fixed space I would have to try and fill even on the days where there seemingly isn’t much going on, and I’ve found it’s really helped me appreciate small, everyday things more. It also makes the passage of time feel more concrete, which I find very comforting!
      That being said, I never want to limit myself in what I want/need to write, so my TN still acts as a journal and commonplace, but also as a catch-all for any overspill from other books.
      Also, because the grid in the hobonichi is much smaller compared to the 5mm grid in the TN notebook, it actually doesn’t feel that much smaller and it fits quite a lot of writing - probably not exactly as much as a full TN page, but maybe a good 3/4 of it which isn’t bad!
      Anyways, sorry for the ramble, hope it makes sense and helps🥰🤍

      @@untitled_paintings the same on you have. I always loved that cover but I never thought to try it in the a6 size and I was intimidated by the daily journaling/memory keeping idea, but seeing how doable it’s been for you inspired me to try it!
