I never commented on you channel before, but I watch it here and there and even though my Journaling-Style is pretty different from yours, I get inspired by your videos too. I'm more on the "Kawaii Journaling on a daily Hobonichi A6" side.
But what made me to comment now is the topic of mental health, cause thats a big topic in my life, as I suffer from several Anxiety- and Mood-related "disorders". Sometimes the Journaling Community feels so bright and "too happy" for someone like me, and its so nice to hear a "famous journaler" talking about mental health.
And, yes, Journaling helps! In case of my Hobonichi and me, I focus on documenting my happy moments there to keep it mostly cute, I use another extra diary for the more sad and challenging feelings ...

I think mental health and journaling are really connected and should be talked about more. I’m tired of always journaling about the good side of life; I guess it works for others, but since journaling for me is all about a record of my life, I prefer putting in the highs and lows and seeing myself grow over time ☺️
Hallo Abbey, Since you live in germany now: at the DM- Drugstore you can print out your photos on stickerpaper in several sizes and shapes. Ist is very thin paper and perfect for journaling. Greetings from Hannover

Thank you! I love layouts so much (InDesign is 💛) so getting to put these journal pages together was so fun! Haha I can understand Deutsch just a bit, haven’t been deep into learning yet but I’m planning to self study this summer 🌞
