I was an aircraft armament specialist 46250 was the career field number back in my day! I went to tech school at Lowry Air Force Base I Denver Co! I was assigned to the 1st special operations wing at Hurlburt Field Fla as a weapons mechanic on the weapons systems on the AC 130H Gunship! Awsome unit to be assigned and great place to be stationed!

@@mintybleach6396 Well, it's a very important job to make sure ammunition is working properly and all that. I don't care if people say it's a bad job, as long as I do things right and have the right attitude, I will do well in the Air Force.

@@mintybleach6396 oh well, if you decide to stick with it, look for trainee LaMarche in BMT. That will be me.

That's unfortunate to hear. We have had great experience with our Airmen coming out of Tech School and telling us they love this job

armament is a good job, just a little tedious when it comes to checking out tools and following along with the TO's. takes a lot of repetition to get things down.

@@alessandropiazza4224 7:18 with this AFSC, you reach your 5 Level after you complete your UGT which only takes 12 months and starts when you get to your 1st base. Avg sew-on for E-4 is 36 months so this MF been on UGT for over 2 years now? 🫢
