@@deewill8915 really late reply, but it was a rough 9 months. Covid made it so we couldn't leave the triangle let alone base. The people who are there for a month like to cause trouble which everyone else gets to tank the brunt for. The course itself isn't too bad if you study but it can be stressful. I have one year left at my current duty station, been here for 2 years.
So your son is going to help the government geoengineer our weather because that's what the Air Force is doing now controlling our weather basically weaponizing it.
"Are you excited about it....yes!" Just wait until you make SSgt you will want to take suck start your M9 on a daily basis........... Going into SOWT was the best thing I could have done which got me out of the daily weather job.
@@AIRFORCEEXPERIENCES No, but I've driven past it when going up to Alexandria Bay. My element 3 instructor in tech school was stationed there for a bit and told us a bit about it. It snows more in Syracuse than in Fort Drum so people who are stationed there don't have to deal with AS much lake effect.
@@marcallenesternon1391 How exciting! Tech school was definitely challenging. Element 1 was pretty easy for me. Element 2 they definitely kick it up a notch. Element 3 was challenging in the beginning. If I could give you any advice about the course it would be to study. Even if it's for 20 or 30 minutes every day. Don't be afraid to ask questions weather is new to all of you. So most likely someone has the same question as you. Also be prepared to speak in front of others I know it can get hard to speak in front of others sometimes especially on a subject that's so new to you. So practice and make notes so you won't look like a dummy like I did lol they were a little easier on me since I was prior service so I got lucky
pops was a weather dude from 86 to 2011. SOWT JSOC all that fun stuff. Much love to the AF SWOs
This is a great vid. I'm about to sign my guard contract for army support and I couldn't be more excited!
Congrats!
Damn I commented on this video right before I shipped. Now I graduate from weather tech school in 2 weeks.
Congrats!
What was it like?

Thank you for the TH-cam video, I will be using this for my Honors Project as an interview.
I met this person and asked for her autograph. She declined. Not a fan anymore.
