  • Fox has redesigned the Transfer Dropper Post, resolving the previous generation’s issues, along with extending service intervals and providing a wider variety of dropper lengths. We recently had the opportunity to check out the Fox Factory HQ and chatted with Engineering Product Manager Tom Pollock, who ran us through all the details on the new Fox Transfer Dropper Post.

Literally everything I've ever wanted in a dropper post. Hope they're as reliable as they claim.

Woah, I forgot how far ahead One Up was

Except that One Up has decided to ditch the adjustable air chamber and still have a disposable air cartridge.

@@ethanrevitch yeah, my point was OneUp decided to go the way of the majority of dropper posts on the market (disposable cartridge) while Fox has taken a page out of OneUp’s playbook and gone with an adjustable and rebuildable air chamber.

Nice update but i see absolutely no reason not to buy a oneup post. Looks easier to service and is way cheaper.

The performance elite Transfer is right inline price wise with the OneUp! I do think some of the more robust brass fittings in the Fox make it an interesting competitor to the OneUp posts! No denying OneUp beat everyone to the punch with their droppers but I think we'll see some people catching up!

If i checked correctly the stack height of the Oneup is also lower and it weighs around 90g less

I've had five FOX Factory Transfer Dropper Posts on five different bikes, and all of them needed servicing within just a few weeks because they got stuck while extending. Even after servicing, the issue persisted on all of them, and it continues to be a problem. I’m confident I’m not the only one with this experience, and it seems to be a design flaw. Has Fox addressed this issue in the 2025 model? I've not, don't buy one!

    • @FanatikBikeCo
