I was watching this late at night, and those sandwiches made me instantly hungry, with no hope of matching them. This is an absolutely gorgeous home! The neutrals and touches of black are perfection and so is the shade of white on the walls. Alex is exactly right about painting some antiques or vintage items...give them a facelift! OMG the kitchen is genius!
What a breath taking loft apartment, so sophisticated, full of rare and beautiful objects but best of all was the dialogue between the two friends David and Alex. The whole tour was superlative and touching on so many levels.💕

David Monn's humility and sense of being blessed combined with his great talent is so encouraging. As a low-income person who has always loved art and beauty and is living in an 860 sq. ft. condo, I watch a lot of home tours on TH-cam. I do not watch such home tours because I dream of having a huge place, owning expensive things, or giving people the impression that I am "successful." I watch them for inspiration and because I like to see different places. So often, I see huge obnoxious mansions designed, possibly, to impress with their size that are devoid of taste and meaning; they are cold, stone monuments to their owners' egos and professional success. But Alex and David are the kind of guys I'd be happy to spend an evening with. Clearly, they love beauty as it was meant to be loved. I wish them both the very best and, even though I am working class, I do not begrudge them but celebrate them. It is nice to see good people having real prosperity.

But I have been blessed (I really do believe blessed), and why should I begrudge people when they, too, recognize they have been blessed and did not get those things dishonestly? It would be like being mad at someone for winning a lottery. There are lots of really crappy wealthy sociopaths whose addiction to power and wealth ruin countless lives; those are the people I object to. But these two guys seem to be just nice people who worked hard and got a little piece of heaven on earth for their efforts. And even though my piece is much smaller, I appreciate it! Things don't have to be expensive to look expensive, but they also don't have to look expensive to look nice. So much can be done with just paint colors, right proportions, arrangement and cleanliness. I would put my cheap place up against some of these mansions any day. And I have peace of mind (something many rich people obviously don't have). Anyway, thanks! May your home always be your sanctuary!

This gentlemen is so serious and thoughtful and has a taste one could only dream of. And he is down to earth and full of love and passion about everything he is surrounded with. Wonderful. I wish Mr. Papachristidis would have let him talk more and explain more. I like him quite well, and he seems to really be a good friend of the homeowner, but in this case he interrupted too soon and too much. I could have listen to Mr. Monns explanations for an hour more. And yes, I also directly thought of Turner, when I saw this beautiful art. Incredible! If I would see this at an exhibition, I feel like I could sit in front for hours and just watch and watch and watch.......This was a fantastic tour and I thank you very much for showing. I would love if David just did the tour on his own. Alex made me uncomfortable for some reason. He kept invading David’s space and was a bit too much touchy, feely and wanted to make it about him. David handled it well because the man has so much class.
It was driving me crazy to see Alex touching all of that art! And just putting his whole hand on that clay horse and other fine pieces. Just like a museum, do not touch the art!

Both men had a lot to share, it was fun listening to their banter, at times I really wanted to hear what one or the other was thinking out loud but the other would interject a little too often. I could see the friendship. The home is gorgeous, the 3 paintings would be a dream to own.
