A little tip: If we know we’re gonna be vlogging an event like our kids’ birthday parties or a family road trip, we make an Epidemic playlist and use it as live background music in the car or at the party. It’s awesome because we get introduced to a lot of new artists that way, and we don’t have to worry about any potential copyright strikes from songs on the radio ruining the audio from fun clips! Hope this helps anyone out there! ❤️

I love using Epidemic sound! There’s so much to choose from. At the beginning, I do used free copyrighted music that I find on TH-cam...but it wasn’t a lot. I have used the music that you put with epidemic and I love it ❤️

I recently got a copy right claim in one of the videos I uploaded some weeks ago and since then I have strictly used songs from the TH-cam audio library. However I am open to exploring epidemic sound because you are recommending it💕
What's up, Cathrin? I just signed up for soundscape instead of epidemic for 1 reason. The reason is because with epidemic when you stop using the service you can continue to use the music in previously published videos, however, you can NO LONGER monetize those videos. It's almost like a retro active copyright strike. With soundscape, you can no longer use the music in NEW videos, however, you can continue to use the music in previously published videos and continue to have them monetized in perpetuity. This was what swayed my decision. I think that Epidemic has the better library of music, but it's scary know that hundreds of videos can easily go from monetized to ineligible for monetization because you quit paying. Great video as usual, however.

This is true, but I would not say this entire video is a lie. I use epidemic sound as well, HOWEVER, I’d still be careful and make sure you read up on the licensing of whatever sound/song you use. Make sure you also read the how to credit section on their site to make sure you are crediting them the correct way in the description box.

Lost Paradise you have to pay for the song in order to use it in any of your platforms. You can pay for each song or pay a monthly fee and you use unlimited song :)
Epidemic is so great. I get tons of awesome tracks for my videos, and the collection is constantly updating and changing so there is always great new stuff to use. Super talented artists on there, too.

Okay, so I listened very carefully and the videos where you’ve used epidemicsound will stay up and you won’t get copyrighted BUT if you were to cancel your subscription you can’t use anymore of their music that you’ve previously used since you’re not a member anymore. Makes sense?

Highly recommend Epidemic Sound too, but only if you’re monetized because that $15/mo adds up if you’re starting your journey at 0 subs!
