Hi mate, Tommy here from OPE. It was great meeting you this weekend. Thank you for covering the event and for your kind words-glad to hear you enjoyed it! We're hoping to share some news about more exciting SWU tournaments soon.
Just finished watching your cast of the Leicester tournament before watching this video. That tournament was insane and you did a great job imo, please keep up your awesome work!
Hey, I’m the Lando player from the weekend. A massive thank you for showing my deck. I’m not greatly skilled yet at the game so for it to go 6-2 should hopefully highlight the potential strength of this deck. Never needing to go above 4/5 resources and having such cheap to smuggle cards massively boosts the level of aggression you can achieve. You’re completely right, Tarkintown is a big help against new Han. Congrats on your successes! Thanks to everyone that attended the event, such a great community
Been working on a Lando myself but more rebel focused. Thought I'd give yours a try. Been working great so far. What do you usually sideboard out for the spec ops in the control match ups?
@@letheshade5877To be honest sometimes I’ll take one of each of the 1 cost red units out, other times if it’s just early sentinel that’s the problem I will drop a Sabine first action as it’ll take care of the new blue sentinels that can be a pain, namely Pyke Sentinel when Qira shields it or the Village Protectors. However, although I think the deck is good I think the sideboard could definitely use work and I’m not great with really utilising it. Basically in testing this my hardest games were Qira and Rey so I primarily focused on trying to deal with them, with the Wolfe in there just as a stop healing for the round play. Otherwise on reflection I’d maybe just add in some more saboteur units like Ketsu, Rogue Operative or even like a 1 drop Jawa
I was the Qi'ra that finished 9th. I find ECL is still worth taking, you also have all your space units for the early game that are solid options to ambush in against lurking phantom or A-wing/red three against Sabine. Ruhk is a very good answer for Dragon as well since you ambush in kill it and live with 1 hp if they target him with their ability trigger. Totally agree with the client though, really too slow and clunky to be worth running. I also agree that Palp is a terrible match, but Howard who I seem to play at every event said he would rather not have to play against Qi'ra so who knows :D
Im the Palpatine Michael played, me and Michael ended up going to time in game 3 and decided the game result through alternative means so as to not acrue a double loss.
Was a close and great game tho for sure was very hard to see who would have won as we both had reasons why each other could have won I believe was a shame but better than double loss
@@thejeffjunior1739 he did ok 53% win rate I haven't had much opportunity to test a lot with him but I think it's a well rounded deck and can do well if piloted correctly
Do you know for which matchup legal autority is used in palp green? I was testing it - but in the end i think with all this 3 power units in palp it's hard to use it.
@@justsilkgames4603 this is nice theory - but in my games i always have problem with catching A-wing and having good unit on board ;) maybe i will try attack pattern delta for buffing sentinels - but i don't want to have too many events/attachments that need my unit on board - and command and ob is aleady 6 but maybe i should try to find place for it in my sideboard another question - do you have problems with boba armor? i have 2x confiscate for that matchup, but maybe you have diffrent solution for that?

Omar didn't have any copies of Poe which is why he didn't play them. He said he would of if he had them.
Good to know, but I maintain that not playing Poe is not necessarly a bad idea. Sometimes limitation breeds creativity.
Hey Thorrk, it was cool to talk to you at Manchester, unlucky for hitting 2 palps out of 9 though and congrats on 2nd in the draft with Hondo!

Michael can answer that better than me, but according to Michael it's for the aggro MU.
Literally used to slow Sabine buff your sentinels and take like an A-wing from space so they can't lane dodge you aswell
