Just got this in. Absolutely stunning in person. It's a pocket shredder from hell though. The pocket clip sits right on milling.

Ione a Combat Troodon made in 2020. I had a group of friends over a few weeks ago, there were five of us all together. I pulled out the knife and showed it to my friends. Out of the five of us, three of us could open the Knife one-handed. Only one of us could close the knife one-handed. Is that common? I purchased a new and I haven’t really gotten it out of the box because of the issue with the button. Now, three of us play guitar almost every day. I don’t believe that’s a issue with hand strength at all, considering most of us have day jobs that require us to use our hands frequently. One of my friends and me swing a hammer all day and our own construction business. I own other OTF knives and there is no problem with the button. I hear that if I send my Knife in for repair, I will get a really criticizing me on my dexterity and hamstring, do you know if that is true? It’s my opinion that if I pay over $500 for a knife, it should be adjusted to my comfort level.

After receiving my new Ultratech 2 and holding it next to a original. I feel like the minimal upgrades do not. validate the cost. In all honesty just because they write signature series on a knife and charge you more for it seems to be totally unreasonable for the price increase. there are very few noticeable upgrades, but I really wouldn’t consider them. Upgrades are or upgraded enough to validate the cost. I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of in a way. I’m not so sure I will be in the market for another Microtech in the future based on how I was taken advantage of on this purchase. it’s not that they didn’t upgrade it some but there is not enough reasonable upgrades to validate the price increase. Perhaps they should’ve added some lubricant to ease the screwing and I feel like I got on this purchase. I see there are a bunch of them available everywhere so it doesn’t look like these are going to be really big hits and I hope microtech realizes that their consumers are not that stupid. Perhaps they should’ve added a hell hound blade so it would be a real upgrade.
