No way he was ducking out of the high notes in “Ride”, I think he enjoys reimagining the song this way and he sorta builds up throughout the song to belting the high notes towards the end. They r so so so good and creating what I like to explain as a musical rollercoaster with their music. They build it and build it in such a great way
I recall reading or hearing someone (on his management team or label or a producer) say years ago that Tyler is just bubbling over with musical creativity. This performance lets the rest of us witness some of that!
