Great to see your enjoying your time again in Scotland & Eddie is a legend, well done mate 👌Enjoy the rest of your walk I will be following with interest & Im glad you said I wasnt Grumpy...Only when it comes to climbing hills 😄
Congrats on 100+ miles. Wow, Ben, 19 miles on a sore knee! I know you hit the highlights of the canal walk, but it seemed beautiful and calm. Love the canal boats.
Following along again Christina. So it looks like you’ve been so very lucky with the weather and are able to ‘crack on’ with the trail. Good job sheep in fixing your air mattress with a bike puncture repair kit! Hope it continues to hold for you - the weather and the air mattress! 😀👍
I hope Ben's knee gets better.I'm sure Christina and Ben will be pulling out all the stops, stretches etc to try fix it. I used to get pain on the outside of my knee when walking downhill. So bad I had to zig zag down hills. I fixed it once and for all by doing good IT Band stretches.
The spiny tree was "Araucaria araucana" - from the Andes in S.America. Known to all as the Monkey Puzzle Tree, Why! 🧐 Who knows. Just saying..... Nice video.
It's his third trip to the UK. The 1st time, we visited as tourists with a rental car because we weren't hikers back 2019. In 2022, we did the C2C :) He loves the UK but of course not like I do. Hehe
There is something special about walking along side a canal. Well done on the 100 mile benchmark. How nice not to have a pack for the day.

Its official I am NOT Grumpy 🤣
You have been lucky with the weather. I can’t believe that I’m in Spain and you will possibly walk through my home town of Kirkintilloch.
Awww then you just missed us a few days ago.
Dodgy knee and 440 miles to go good luck Ben hope it recovers

That grimace when Sheep said '440 miles'. 🤣. We're rooting for you. 😃
Easy trail Bobo. I was brought up in Winchburgh, my mother still lives there 👍

You’ll be glad when you finish the canals; they seem to on for ever.
There is a day on Offas Dyke with a similar long canal. It is relaxing (and easy on the knee) but you dont want too much of it.
Hope Ben’s knee feels better soon
Hello to both of you, is this Ben's first trip to the U K, if so what does he think of it. Well done 19 miles is a good walk. Regards. Andrew.

Why is Ben’s tent so far from yours?
Those corners are the flattest spots. In the middle it was sloped
I think about that too....
Good Morning, loving the adventure so far, keep smiling enjoy the rest of the journey.
