God, I remember the days when attumentless just sounded like a bad option. Back when I was a perma freshie I made an attumentless build that was accidentaly almost completly meta and I had no idea, it turned out to be my first ever power 60 build with the instant payback bell. How it got wiped? I was trying to get an enchant at that castle light girl when Aga dropped his video on her. Then I jumped over the void and clicked Medal instead of my glider. Thank god we can press N to use a glider nowadays.
Gliding over the void is stupid anyways, i only do it when i dont care about the build anymore or can kill bonekeeper without losing a bar to one hit of him

I feel like with the way it's going now is that it will likely enter another dark age, an unpopular opinion is that too many gankers out there with the amount of new oaths that require ganks makes the game less enjoyable unless you're into the feeling it gives. It will just be another rogue lineage with the way it's going rn. That being said, it's more likely that it will end up who is the best player and remove any of the fun exploration features it has, me personally I fear everyone in deepwoken so I overall stopped playing it and just straight up never touched it again. I know it may not seem like a lot of players are just there for pve, but the more pvp players that get frustrated the more they would want to rage quit for a good while until they find a better game. Idk why I played deepwoken when I hate pvp but y'know, I love magic lol All that being said, it's going down, but not quickly enough to notice nor at a rapid rate. The only way to bring it back to life if you include exciting features such as lightkeep or lifeweaver magic, more races and more lore will make the people interested to play for the sake of exploration, that won't stop the ganking but at least people can find something else to do rather than constantly fight. I personally can't wait to see if they add the lightborn race lol Many people would disagree and say pvp is the peak of deepwoken, but I personally don't see it that way because more or less people honestly giving up entirely due to better builds and they can't keep up with the new developments
100% agree, this is why I've been telling my friends that deepwoken would be an amazing singleplayer game (with the proper adjustments like adding an actual campaign which wouldn't be very hard since they already have a ton of lore to work with)

The game went into a dark age because they change the combat before release and took some maps and abilities out the like venting the game is most likely going to die if they don’t fix this if they had added everything and changed nothing people would have more fun in the game but they took certain thing out instead. And then added them later which was stupid. Will you confront them about this
I've quit deepwoken for almost a month now and I haven't ever felt the need to come back, only reason I somehow managed to keep playing during the dark age while waiting for layer 2 WAS because of layer 2 and now I feel like I'll miss literally nothing by not playing, it's gotten stale once again
