  • Located on the western part of Lantau Island is Ngong Ping (home to Tian Tan "Big" Buddha) and Tai O (one of the oldest existing fishing villages in Hong Kong). In this video, I share some of the highlights from my one day trip to these two amazing locations.

Haha thank you so much for your support! If you want to travel a bit further from the main city area, I would also recommend Cheung Chau (another fishing village) and Sharp Island which you can access via boat from Sai Kung Pier. While you're in Sai Kung, you should try the buttered pineapple bun ("bor lor bao") sold at 'Sai Kung Cafe and Bakery'. For shopping I would recommend Mongkok, Kwai Chung/Kwai Fong and Causeway Bay. If you want to get a great view (best in my opinion) of Hong Kong harbour then I recommend going to the Peak. Alternatively, another nice view is from Tsim Sha Tsui where there is also a free light show at 8pm every night. I have videos on all these coming up but definitely won't finish them in 2 weeks haha! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Have a safe trip! I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Why were you in such a rush?
Please help me with 5 questions?
How to get to Tai O Fishing Village from Tian Tan Big Buddha?
2 Do we need to book 1 side or return ticket for the Ropeway?
3 Do you get Vegetarian food anywhere in Tian Tan or Tai O
4 How do we travel to Noah's Arc from Tai O?
5 Can we cover Tian Tan, Tai O and Noah's Arc the same day?

Hello, to my knowledge, there are tours that can help less mobile visitors. You could also enquire at the local Po Lin Monastery who may be able to offer assistance. Hope that helps.
