I’m from jersey , and was just up there on a trip. Is it normal for MBTA to run trains with single and double decked cars because NJT doesn’t do that but runs similar trains

Trains wise, it’s called North end and South end. South end are for the lines out of South Station and North end is lines out of North Station. I put around North Station thinking people would understand it’s in the general area

Yes, they tend to mix up the consists. They usually only have a full double decked consist in rush hours.
