This movie is truly underrated. It was sort of an autobiography of his life at that point. He thought the world was done with him, and that his limelight was fading. A somber yet inspiring movie. Never give up on life and always keep trying. And always go out the way you want to.
That moment when Claire Bloom cries out “I’m Walking” is truly magical!
Right up there with “Yes, I can see now” from City Lights!
Bloom and Chaplin deserved Oscar nominations for this film!
He makes you see life as something that's worth experiencing, and that's an amazing thing to say.
Just watched for the second time... Chaplin sure is an artistic genius.

A masterpiece
A completely different movie from Chaplin and a defining one. It is worth the wait to see him in action alongside another comic genius - Buster Keaton :)
