Fred. Merry Christmas. I must have watched a million TH-cam golf videos. On a good drive I hit it 250. Yesterday, after watching this video and the one with you getting to 130, I started fully jumping into the shot, copying you, and by God, I started hitting it 275 carry in the cold. And the main thing of it, was that it was the funnest thing I've ever done in playing golf. It was such a joy, thanks so much for making the content, been playing three years and this literally unlocked me jumping into the shot and I am still buzzing ahah. Merry Christmas, keep making content, the way you experience it and share it is really clear and useful. Thanks again.
The grip discussion near the beginning is pure gold!!! I couldn't beleive what Terry said until I grabbed a club and tried it. I've been golfing for nearly 25 years and never felt I could properly release the club because it flipped like crazy. When I swung faster everything duck hooked. Once I turned my right hand under until the flipping stopped, OMG!!! Then I put both hands on and took many practice swings. It feels soooo much more stable and powerful!!! I then released my right hand like it should, OMG again!!! Terry should do a separate video on this specific topic. Never heard this anywhere before. Thank you Fredrik for the outstanding video!!! BTW...you should push for 140 club speed, you got it!!!
Will play more tournament golf this year. I have played on many tours including Asian Tour, MENA Tour, Sunshine Tour, PGA Tour Latinoamerica, PGA Tour Canada. Haven't reached the highest level but still pushing to do so! /Fredrik
I did this and got more speed and straighter drives. But after a couple rounds (couple days between), my lower back is very sore. Am I doing something wrong or maybe just overuse (body not used to it yet)?
I tend to hold on to the handle and not let the club release because I was afraid to miss it left. But with a better grip I can release t more without hitting it left. For me it feels like I'm going to hook it but I don't. So when she said that she just wanted me to feel like I released the club more instead of holding the angles.
@@FredrikandHannah thank you! I tried that at the range with the front post vertical “jump “ and it resulted in a slight pull draw. Flush contact and a draw but starting a little right of normal. (Left handed). I wonder if I should aim a little more left and play that shot. I liked the distance and flight.
wasn't your 123 club speed shot 40 yards more carry than your 130 club speed shot? I get the goal is to hit the speed but interesting how much better the numbers were for you at 123, I guess the swing path or where it hit on the face wasn't as good.
Hi Fredrick, although I’ve a slow swing speed,(I’m 66 with arthritis) I’m assuming that this technique would increase anyone’s ball speed, not to your level but an increase is still a increase
How much arm swing are you using? Amd if so, when? I have been feeling like my body turns and "flings" my arms off but wondering if I should be adding in concious arm swing.
The hook feeling helps me to release the handle more and not hold on to the angles for too long. That helps me transfer the energy in the club head to the ball better. Before I adjusted the grip I would hit it left when I released it.
@@FredrikandHannah Thanks - appreciate the response. I am side under and front post just like you, so very interested in your lessons with them and adaptions you've made!

Love to hear this Donald! Just sent this message to Terry. He will love to hear this
Fredrik I found Terry discussing it at length on a podcast: Powerless effort effortless power. Thank you again for this amazing content!!!
@@quadl98 awesome!! Terry is working on a new Book. I can't wait to read it
Huge congrats Fredrik! Beast mode activated! 💪
Appreciate you!
@@FredrikandHannahHej! Imponerande speed! Känner du till om det finns någon coach som kör med force plates eller liknande i Stockholm?
I have been asking for this for so long. THIS IS AMAZING.
Appreciate you!
Grattis Fredrik, bra jobbat!
Tack Peter!
so many nuggets in this video. I can't wait to practice some of them.
The video’s with Mike or terry are the best. Fun to Watch and learn

Thanks James!
Terry Rowles and Mike Adams are changing how golf should be taught and in the right way. Swing based upon what God gave you.
great swing, fast club head speed, so hows your short game and putting?
why aren’t u on the pga tour?
Need a great short game. Everyone can drive the ball and hit irons
@@TheBooze13 have u seen this man’s short game?

I was under the assumption that stronger grip would make you release it more and hit more left???
That is not the case. A stronger grip would slow down the release for most. But this depends some from player to player according to Mike and Terry.
I did this and got more speed and straighter drives. But after a couple rounds (couple days between), my lower back is very sore.
Am I doing something wrong or maybe just overuse (body not used to it yet)?
Also a front post golfer 🏌, when I work on getting on my left side the massive slice goes away 😊
Love that!
Amazing! What does Hannah mean at the end when she says “hook it”. I heard that in her video too. Thanks for great content!
Probably just means release the hands like hell?
@@Kridian01 which really means accelerate the clubhead around the corner I guess? That could be.

did your forearm rotation change for stronger grip?
130mph and 185 ball speed, that's insane bro.
Appreciate you Randy!

Absolutely!

I swing the arms a lot. From the top of the swing I try to swing the arms as fast as I can.
Unreal got to 130 fast.
Congrats! Question - the 'hook' feeling to make you release - when you don't do this do you hit big blocks to the right?
The hook feeling helps me to release the handle more and not hold on to the angles for too long. That helps me transfer the energy in the club head to the ball better. Before I adjusted the grip I would hit it left when I released it.
