🤗🤗 aww thank you! I still have moments of here I say “man how did this happen” but then I say you are where you are and you got this! I love this comment so much!
I had six years between my last garden and when the Pandemic hit and I thought, I need a garden!! It was my worst garden ever but I watched Jess and others to relearn gardening and the garden has gotten better every year since. But yes, Jess was very important in helping me grow and learn and not give up.
I use two water jugs for the chickens. I alternate so that I don’t have to bring one in the house. 1 is always ready to go in case the other is frozen. 4:29
My first year gardening, I watched every video I could find. It helped me so much to learn from each and everyone of you. It helped so much that I am now sharing my journey and experiences on my TH-cam channel. So I thank you ❤❤❤❤
We had the same year! I’m happy all the videos you watched helped. I subscribed to your channel yesterday when I read your comment! Happy you are sharing your journey 🤗!
You have been my girlfriend in my head for over a year and perhaps my biggest inspiration to stop spectating and start participating. Thanks for being you 💚
Hello Asia! Awesome video of your beautiful bountiful garden harvest and overwintering peppers!👍 Thanks for sharing; I am overwintering a couple of peppers, too!💖 Blessings to you and family!🌺 🦋11/25/2024🦋
I just love your attitude, especially twords gardening 😊Your always like we'll give it a try,if it works great. If not, well we won't do that again.😂❤Fun😊
Awww thank you! I like trying things b/c if it works it makes me so happy inside lol. I found some mushroom fruiting bags today so I’m super excited to try those too!
Always happy to see you, even in the cold. Can't wait for your first homestead collaboration with one of your favorite homestead friends....ie Becoming a Farm Girl.
Just came from watching the vlog channel. Loved it there. Girl I from NY where the cold don’t play get ptsd thinking about the cold compared to VA cold 😅. I’m starting my channel next year 2025 here I come😂🎉. Would love to see what u do with the moringa. I just got some seeds from MIGardner.
Shalom Ms.Asia 😊, lovely video. It was really nice seeing you literally shop in your back yard for healthy fresh veggies. I thought that was sooo cool😊. Those leeks looked absolutely delicious. Once again Thank You for your gardening lesson and your humorous humble self🌺. Have yourself and yours a beautiful blessed weekend. Stay warm, out here in Cali, its cold,39degs this morning 🥶. Shalom
Hi 👋🏾! Thank you! I think so too, I love it! You’re most welcome! I appreciate all of your support! I have done just that! Thank you, I visited a bunch of farmers markets and found mushroom fruiting bags so I’m stoked lol. Thank you have a great week! 🤗
Asia I over wintered pepper last year too & let them die from lack of water… lol…. Imma try again this year in those smaller pots too, maybe I will have better luck. Imma do my eggplant too. Thanks 4 sharing & happy gardening!!!
Hey Steffanie! Lol totally understand, that been me in the past too. I think they are just the right size to do this so I’m crossing my fingers! Good luck and happy overwintering! You’re welcome!
Hey Elwanda! Thank you! This is going to be the time! I’m sending you good vibes. Kohlrabi seems to like fertilization. I’ve used fish emulsions and now comfrey tea they both seem to work. Now them carrots you know I struggle with them 🤣. You’re welcome And thank you!
Thank you for the kohlrabi tips. I'm growing them for the 1st time because you and Broke liked them. So I'm glad to know I won't think they're nasty because I didn't harvest them correctly. I listen to some video for the gab. They help me be encouraged when I'm in the garden alone. I live outside city limits and anything is liable to come in the yard. But I like to actually watch your videos and listen to your gab because I always learn. I can't wait to start doing some of the things you're doing. ❤😊 Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome! Lol ok, they are delicious! I figured I would mention it b/c it may help someone. Ok, well I’m glad my videos help you get through your garden chores! You’re welcome!
Always enjoy your garden tours! I wish I had done more fall gardening this year. Need to stop being lazy and try to overwinter some peppers too! Beautiful veggies you got!
Thank you so much for inspiring me to start gardening. It’s been 2 years now and I absolutely love it! I’m in Arizona and it’s definitely a challenge especially in the summer months but I have definitely took a lot of your tips that’s helped me even though we aren’t in the same zones. Again, I appreciate you sharing all these jewels.
Awww you’re welcome! That makes me so happy to hear. O yes I can imagine the heat in Arizona would make gardening challenging. I’m glad you are sticking with it! You’re welcome! 🤗
I always enjoy your videos. This was a perfect reminder for me to get ready for the frost soon. My first frost is expected next Friday so I better get to it.
I just love watching your videos. I have gotten so much inspiration from watching your videos. I have my pepper plants inside my garage and soon I might bring them in my greenhouse that I have in my plant room. I repotted them in fresh soil so they wouldn't be bringing anything from the outside. I really want to make sure these peppers make it to see next year. I have been learning alot when I watch your videos. I had kohlrabi yesterday as a side dish of scalloped kohlrabi that my mother in law had made. It was really good. I was showing my family the short that you had made about kohlrabi it may have been yesterday. I am definitely adding it to my list of veggies next year to grow in my garden. Also I try to film about my garden. I am doing better this year with showing more of my garden and how I'm getting the growth and what I'm growing. I have my winter sowing peppers video coming. I just have to edit it.
loving it ! im also hoping my peppers survive fingers crosssed i put them in green house and poly tunnel i dont want to fetch in the house as when i start off my january feb sowings there will be no space on windows for them so is what it is right haha,, i guess if i really had to save them like my life depended on the food i grow alone i would be more carefull , but im still going to sow more in jan just in case hehe , kohlrabi looked gorgeous
I FINALLY remembered to get the vodka for my tinures.I have some things in oil and in alchol but wanted to try the vodka also.I had a few comfrey leaves so i got them and veggies leaves and will put some banana leaves in it also.It STINKS already🥴😵💫 ❤
I follow Jacques and Eric. They’re in San Diego, Ca. I think they are Zone 10. I’m in Florida 9b. I follow numerous gardeners because I learn a lot! I also use Kellog’s for soil.
Same! I found Jacques through Eric’s channel! O ok. Yep it’s definitely worth following gardeners that are not in your zone and climate. O nice, I like their soil!
Thank you for showing how you overwinter your peppers!!! I will do the same with my peppers and egg plants next season. It will be my first time over wintering.😊👍🏾 It will be nice to see how your plants come back next season. Is your green house heated?
You’re welcome! I think it’s an option if they survive. O yay, good luck! I think so too! I have the ability to heat it. I bring the heater and portal generator out when I need it.

The kohlrabi looks amazing
Thank you! I think they are the coolest looking plants!
I saw someone add a bit of beet juice into the water to keep it from freezing! If you wanted to try something out so it doesn’t freeze :)
Love your videos

I over wintered pablano, green yellow and jalepeno plants before my first frost in 7b, NC. I was racing, it was cold.
Awesome! That was me in this video lol. Racing trying to get out of the cold! Good luck overwintering your peppers. Is this your first time?
@ yes, first time. I’m keeping mine inside the loft area, near a window, not really much direct light from that window.
I FINALLY remembered to get the vodka for my tinures.I have some things in oil and in alchol but wanted to try the vodka also.I had a few comfrey leaves so i got them and veggies leaves and will put some banana leaves in it also.It STINKS already🥴😵💫 ❤
O yay lol! Nice, I have a few more things going too! 🤣🤣 o yes it smells terrible but it does work!! Good luck and happy growing!
@@YellowDoorUrbanHomestead 😊
Asia, remember if you want, you can also put the hose in the raised soil of the vole and drown the tunnel.
Ahhh that’s a great idea. I need to try it! Thank you for the tip!
Nice video
Thank you!! 🤗
My Peppers came out late this years and now it's raining for two days and cold.
O no, I’m sorry to hear that. Is your first frost coming soon?

Hi Asia could you tell me where you got the sweatshirt that says I like to grow things. You had it on in a video this week. Thanks
Hi! I got it from Roots & Refuge. She does preorders and announces it in her videos. You’re welcome!
Pretty sure it’s called LEACHate…the stuff that leaches out from the substrate.
Ahhh gotcha. Thanks!
You mentioned about herbs guess what I made me some
T ea from some avocado pit.
O nice! I didn’t know that was a thing! How did you do it? Also do you have a channel?
I follow roots refugy
O yay! Love her channel!
You can dilute ur leeche with water, that’s what I do cause I’m scared to burn my plants.
Ok thank you! Total understand!
You can also save money.
This is also true!!
