Enjoyed your video! I would like to mention that I have found out not to put veggie seeds in the worm bins...I had a bunch of volunteer tomatoes, cucumber and butternut squash seedlings in the worm castings. 😁 I was amazed at how many germinated! But if you know that up front, then you can just pick them out if you're using the castings as part of your potting mix or as compost for the garden.
I live in ten acre farm.We have turkey's,chickens, pig, horses and dogs.I can't wait until spring. You have planted quail in my head.Im getting some in spring. Thanks so much for sharing your journey with them.I thought they'd be so much more fragile.Quail are so yummy and so are their eggs.Thx again.😊❤Your worms and garden look great.
Ten acres sounds amazing! O yay! They are so cute and easy to care for. You’re welcome! Happy to share. I haven’t found them to be fragile. I completely agree!! You’re welcome and thank you!
I used a space heater (tip over shut off) to heat my greenhouse in the winter and I use a fan in the summer. I use a 100 ft outdoor extension cord and it keeps my greenhouse warm and my veggies growing in the winter. And I use a box fan in the summer.
O ok. My plan was to use a small heater as well but I wanted to avoid running a cord. So far the greenhouse is doing pretty good without heat so far. I’ll definitely look into getting a fan for the summer. Thanks for the comment!
@@tanyadaugherty3720 I take care of my mom and she been hospitalized for three weeks so that had to take priority. They’re actually fine now. God has a way of taking care everything.
Also I know you have plenty of places to put your scraps between the 🪱worms and the 🐓chickens.... Just a suggestion of something you may want to add to your compost arsenal ... bokashi composing is very good and it brakes down the food quickly.
I'm in capitol Heights also zone 7 and the cold killed all of my plants that were previously thriving and all I could think about was you saying "It's fine" 😆
You can still use your generator by running an outdoor extension cord from the generator inside in the warmer area to your greenhouse heater outside. You can still charge your generator with your solar panels
@YellowDoorUrbanHomestead I understand that. I run outdoor cords to my chickens, goats, greenhouse, and now barn cats (long story lol). Thankfully, it's a short winter here and usually above freezing temps(zone 7b).
Awesome Asia! My worms are in the ground in my compost area. I’m thinking of getting a formal bin area for them. I love your greenhouse and those quail babies are super cute 💜💜
That's the problem with generators, you can't have them inside the house😢 I hope the greenhouse works for your mushrooms! Do different mushrooms taste different? I've only had the ones in the store and canned ones?🤷♀️ I hope someone answers about the mold. I just watched Jamerica put her quail in her greenhouse outside.😉 Are they for eating or just to eat eggs? Yeah worm babies lol I don't like worms, but I'm thinking of getting some for castings my husband who always calls me a city girl laughed and said ok that's kool I can use some for fishing too😂🤣😂 Your garden is looking great! I'm new to chickens. Is there anything to do if the comb does freeze? Thank you! And love the hair❤ I have natural curly hair and love it straight to run my fingers through.
The one I have is electric so it’s safe for inside but I wanted to use it outside 😩. Thank you! Yes they have different tastes and flavors. I really like shiitake and oyster mushrooms. Thank you! A few people have answered. I’ll have to go check out her channel. Love watching other people who raise quail. Thank you for the suggestion! Mine are for eating and eggs. Lol totally understandable! I was thinking the same thing as your husband. I love fishing! Thank you! In my area it will clear up on its own. It’s never really too bad. You’re welcome! Thank you! Totally get it lol!!
Child that dang moringa is a headache 😅. I have mine INSIDE and the leaves look CRAZY and shedding. I read all the possible problems and done what was suggested. I MAY move them to a larger pot.The thing they are not that big and i know that root system has not out grown that dang pot.If they dont make it im finished with trying to grow moringa. I will just buy the powder. Smh
Lol o my! Thanks for letting me know! I hope the things you do work and that your trees start to thrive again so you can continue to grow them and make some powder!
I’m upset cause my broccoli headed and then turned to flower and the head won’t even that big 😢😢 and my others taking a good lil min to head. Might try another variety next year😢
SowyouRight…same thing happened with me… I bought seedling from the local store.. the leaves grew big, but the heads grew small and flowered, I just harvested the leaves and sautéed them.. delicious.. will try another brand next year…btw I tried growing them from seed in my second plot… nothing, didn’t germinate at all.
You just be laughing 😊 I love it!!!!!
Love watching the videos

Lol that makes sense! I’ll keep that in mind going forward. I do like the idea of free seedlings 🤣.
my mushroom guy stated if in doubt throw it out be careful with mold
That makes sense! I was thinking that but I figured I’d ask.
Gorgeous broccoli 🥦 💚
Thank you!

O ok, I wasn’t really sure how low of a temp they could stand. Thanks for the comment!
I’m curious about the mushrooms too! Mold every time I’ve tried!!😢
I saw a few people answered. Not sure what the majority was yet. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully your next try is fruitful!
This spring, grow some extra cucumbers. Worms love cucumbers! Loved seeing all of your projects in this video.
Thanks for the tip! Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Long time since I’ve tuned in, great to see you all again.

Hi 👋🏾! 💜
Good morning, hon 😊
Hi 👋🏾!
someone plz answer her question about the mold. I'm curious
I saw a few answers. I don’t know what the majority was just yet.
Are you interested in selling quail? I am thinking of doing quail
If you are close to me once I get a decent amount of them I would be interested. I’m not comfortable shipping them.
I wonder if she butchers the quail herself or takes them to a butcher
She has a video of her butchering the quail.
Hi 👋🏾, yes I do.
Asia Do not open it inside your house to remove the mold.
Ok thank you!!
