Ogre is actually ok into Branded. If you hold it for the Cartesia, you can keep them off of Granguignol and force them to fuse off other stuff to resolve it.
If you hit cartesia it doesnt get to fuse?
@@apologizethatyouwerebornin2616 you still resolve the effect, but they can’t go into Granguignol because Cartesia won’t be able to use herself as material.

Yubel is already resilient to ht, Phantom being a possible ht negate through the combo and an extender at the same time will be mad crazy

@@rachidsouki8614 ahahah la hit di Isolde mi fa ancora male al cuore xd... comunque si, Yubel è l'unico combo che mi interessa, inoltre con il phantom diventerà davvero forte. Forse con Fiendsmith sarà tra i best deck, davvero promettente

@@ItSpooling_ ash doesn't kill yubel at all. Only kills it when you draw near to unplayable. I agree for ogre, but if you have throne + pain you can do something about it. But you will be able to summon phantom even before you even start your combo if you have the right hand to do so, that is why it is crazy... and even now if you draw starter + beckoning beast you are kinda safe around hts

Everything is accurate but to add fuel to ogre being worse against branded, just know that you can’t even use it on branded lost in the activation window 😭

31:49 something very important that you missed, ashing lubellion to add a bystial stops them from setting up regained or lost, and lost can help win games by itself.
but the most important thing you missed, was ashing albion the branded dragon in end phase. most good branded players use ablion in EP to help them recoup from the other points of interaction you had, being able to set branded in red for chimera, or being able to set banishment is a big deal when you're 2 cards down before you start your turn,

Dont forget, you can also ghost ogre fallen of albaz in a simplified game state to stop them from fusing away your monster.
I know they mean barrier at 17:40 but yeah Ash hits almost everything but Lo and Blessings. It hits Pre-prep. Prosp, Radiance , Barrier, skull guardian, both Diviner effects, old man sauravis. Every other engine people play as well. Melodious, Branded, Drytron and even Nekroz. But tbf almost every single relevant handtrap hits Voiceless pretty hard in some way.
The beauty of the deck is also no single hand trap beats it. Sequenced properly with average hands can play around 2-3 hand traps
@@bruniTCG aye that's true. Only when you open 1 card to play and get's ashed or imperm is when actually hurts (which it does happen often but that happens to all decks tbf) but if you open full combo they might as well have 5 hantraps, otherwise you'll end on skull guardian and Lo regardless

Not good enough vs Snake Eye variants. It's got a usage for every matchup but it's just low impact 99% of the time.
Are you counting the ghost mourners and veiler together?
Ghost ogre + Nib against Snake Eye should be nib on the board of IP, 3 Lv 1s, and Flamberge in the S/T, then chain ogre to the temple.
What do you think of bystials in the side for handtraps?

For droll in branded, it is decent after frightful patchwork so they cannot go into chimera

Can I use Stardust synchron's effect to Tribute Promethean princess on the field as cost to active the special summon from grave effect.
Can I tribute Promethean princess as cost to special summon a non-fire monster or am I still fire locked

You cannot attempt to summon any non-FIRE monsters while Prom Princess is on your field, even if paying a cost would remove her from your field.

Against yubel you have to imperm the dark beckoning beast, no question. It is insane. It gives you more body, and ways to extend, and setup varudras.
If it doesnt start with beckoning beast but samsara, then dont imperm it. If you dont have ash, just let that go through and imperm the spirit.
If they start with lotus, ash it, but if they start with nightmare pain, you should ash that.
Ghost ogre is insanely good on nightmare pain. It cuts them off from sooo many extension.
Nibiru is good most of the time, except if they open full combo.

Two imperms doesn’t work in bp with tenpai. If they chain the second you can’t imperm again since you control a card. Don’t you just imperm the lvl 7 sync?
If tenpai is in battle phase...that means you went first...why are the imperms still in your hand where the restriction applies??

about branded, you cant ghost ogre branded lost, use it on cartesia, it's the only target
The only time you can use it on branded lost is if the fusion wasn’t cl1 in the previous chain. If the fusion summon happened as cl2 or higher, and if in the new chain they make it so lost ends up being the last trigger in the chain, THEN you can chain ghost ogre to pop it

you're so incorrect about droll against tenpai. for them to not play into it requires them to have so much engine in their hand which is just not likely. it stops them from otking like 70% of the time

imperm does not make talents or thrust live where is that info coming from??? Only monster effects can.
Thrusts becomes live when a monster effect is activated

starts video, melodious not listed.... Okay i dont want anyone to know how to stop my deck either. :)
while they make good points and observations about the cards, i still dont like entirely playing handtraps in this format in my deck, Vanquish Soul. I much prefer boardbreakers and the thrust package combined with Kaijus than any handtrap in the TCG. The deck performs way better and you can even sometimes play out of dead hands which previously was never the case, not to mention thrust getting you to one of your best starters if you should need it. Problem is, none of the handtraps have any sinergy with the deck except for Ash and ash is by far the weakest of them all in the TCG, OCG and MD are a whole different beast and you need to have Ash at all times.
Quick yubel comment: droll stops 1 card combos. If they open grave squirm its still like 80%. Second, djinn buster is becoming more popular, making nib null.
