I really appreciate this new thing where you display the names of aromachemicals on the screen, it’s really helpful for researching about perfumery materials if i want to ! Please do it for all the raw materials/aromachemicals you mention !

One of my favorite qualities that you posses is how you look at fragrance from technical standpoints, as well as the quality of a fragrance. The fact that you say things like “this is quite nice” but then also say “it’s just not for me” is actually refreshing. I adore this fragrance and I do wear it almost as a signature. Very masculine but with a rounded touch of appeal for the masses. My girlfriend tells me that “it just smells like you”, whatever that is worth 🤷♂️ I highly recommend this fragrance, but like ATH stated, not at that price. Find it discounted
I could listen to you talk for days!! This is one of my go to’s in winter for the office. The OG was good but a little too sweet. This is fantastically masculine without being too old school. Not big on smoky fragrances but this has the perfect blend for me. Lasts for days and I’ve yet to run into someone who smells even close to similar. It is very expensive but you get the 125mls and I only use 2 sprays at a time. It will last me forever. Thank you, Aaron!! I appreciate everything you do!! You are the master!!
I’ve been watching you since day one and I love the progression in your video/audio quality. I think the fragrance community is changing to where we trust genuine reactions over the “top xyz compliment beasts”.

What great timing I just wore my decant of Pegasus Exclusif for the first time yesterday and it was quite nice. The next time I wear it I need to spray more because I'm sure I went a little nose blind. Later on that day and even the next day I smelt the atomizer and it smells 100% like a root beer float.

To your question, I do like knowing about the notes listed within a fragrance. It does give me an idea of what the fragrance is trying to accomplish, scent wise. It also helps with knowing what I am smelling sometimes. It is especially useful for when I really like a note in a fragrane; it allows me to find other fragrances that also have that note.

Oh yeah, I also really appreciate that you show the chemical names now. Maybe add a fragrance pyramid on the bottom left so we can see how the chemicals play into the perceived pyramid? I really like when they show that.

Very Nice Aaron! I have the regular Pegasus and its pretty good!..I have eight of there Fragrances there all darn good!..Guess Layton has been reformulated and they changed there alcohol by volume but i have all vintage bottles thank god!
Pegasus is my favorite. I like it more than the exclusif verison
one of the key components of almond smell is benzaldehyde, waited for you to mention it

@@olliebuck5243 fresh and clean. It would be in the same category as Sauvage Parfum, but WAAAAY higher quality and way better. Just in that category. Mass appealing "blue" "everyday" fragrance. Very well done!

1:54 - You mentioned these aromachemicals as Addictive. Are there other fragrances that you like that have this combo? - Looking to expand my scent collection. Exclusif wasn't really for me but regular Pegasus is amazing, probably my top scent of all time.

Aaron, I'd love to hear your take on PDM Kalan which seems to be a polarizing PDM perfume. Its a love it or hate it. I absolutely love the tester vial I got.

Where i live in Romania is 230 euro for 125 ml on the grey market, means less than 200 pounds, so i guess is worth it, bought carlisle for 150 euro by the way

all if not most of PDM fragrances got watered down since 2021 =( even the retail packagings say so. no more ~78% alcohol vol. and now ~82% vol.

I’d love to hear your opinion and a review of a very VERY special scent I have just discovered. It is called Homa and is made by a brand called PRIN.
It’s an extremely dark scent packed with woody and animalic notes. I have heard it being described as “a fragrance that opens a portal straight to hell” or “a hug from Lucifer himself”.
I really hope this is something you would try so we can hear your opinion, sadly it is a very small brand and not many people know it so there are basically no reviews for it online.
Where would recommend buying samples from?

Pegasus and Pegasus Exclusif both leave me unimpressed. Give me metallic vibes on the standard Pegasus, but on the Exclusif I get excessive hazelnut vibes.
Thanks Aaron. No matter how good a fragrance may smell; is it fitting of the price, does it work on your skin, and will you reach for your wallet to buy it.
PMD misses the points to me.
Layton, Oajan, Carlisle are all worth the price with their great smell and good performance. Herod smells great but doesn't perform unfortunately.
The only issue I have is this has a smoky gasoline motor oil base that I dont like.
Parfums de Marly is my absolute favourite house. Pegasus and Layton is my favourites that I can’t live without.

Can you help me out. I own a bottle of Layton Exclusif and just received a sample of Pegasus Exclusif and I found them way too similar is that correct or did they send my a sample of Layton Exclusif? Tyia
@@scottsmith6235they might be similar because from what I’ve seen when they do the “exclusif” they make it darker and usually add a touch of oud. So that might be why

I am kinda lost on this cologne. I love the smell but it simply does not last at all. Around 3 hours max. I wonder if I got a bad batch.
Just got my bottle today and so far after 3-4 hours its still going strong. Its a parfum so its super concentrated.
@@vktravellog1242after about my 6th wear, it has totally become a beast. One spray before work and it lasts 12 hours. Silage is good for about 2 hours, but I can still smell it 12 hours later. Great buy and safe for the office.

I was completely unmoved by this fragrance.
Givaudan produces all Parfums De Marly fragrances. Givaudan is fragrance firm that specializes in mass appealing scents and when they tried to make something daring it simply didn't work imo.
I love it but I can sense that what you said could be true. some parts of it all.ost don't work together
