I have both and I love them. I wear Pegasus more during the fall/winter whereas I wear Layton during Spring/Summer.
I get compliments on both. However, on my skin, Layton performs much better

I can’t buy Herod because i already purchased a similar smelling Tom Ford wich is stronger
So im deciding between Pegasus and Layton as my first PdM but it’s a difficult decision!
Ps: Oajan also smells really good but the performance is meh

It smells fantastic and probably more appropriate for your age.
Layton is my favorite PDM fragrance, but I am 25 years older than you.
You might also consider "Yves St. Laurent- L'Homme"... that one might be perfect for you.
Pegasus has garnered great compliments for me, to the point where people were literally alarmed that I smelled so good. Need to try Layton.

Great review sir. I took my GF downtown {Ft Worth] to finally get my bottle of Creed. While we were there at the Parfumerie of course we sampled all the luxurious scents you cant find at a mall. She loved Creed until the very last sample we tried, Parfumes De Marley Pegasis. She quite insisted that Pegasus was absolutely the finest mens fragrance she had ever smelled. The look of excitement on her face changed my mind instantly. It is a beautifully clean,masculine and unusual scent that lasted through the night. As for Creed it's still on my list but for now I'll have my Pegasus. I enjoy your reviews and will be subscribing as you have a pleasant and enjoyable presence and delivery.
Pegasus blew me away. After a few hours at the gym I shower throw on a sporty fit with a fresh white T & fresh kicks dabble 2 sprays of Pegasus on & step in my local mall & here comes the women I swear I love this ish lol
Layton is one of my favorite fragrances hands down, first of all cause it's is fresh and so different but more importantly my wife loves it

I actually brought both simultaneously just because I couldn't decide which one I like best. I feel like they are both equal, it all depends on the occasion and time of day. They both get me compliments, however Pegasus gets me a little more.

I have both and prefer Pegasus personally, more seductive whereas Layton is a bit more loud for me. I also prefer the smell of Pegasus.

Hey Kevin, I've made it a habit to purchase decants for sampling before buying full bottles. I've sampled Pegasus and love it. I was hoping my decant of Layton would arrive soon but it's been held up. In your opinion, is Layton blind-buy safe over Pegasus if I were going for a full bottle soon?

Layton is the first fragrance I have from this house. "O my god, who smells so good" was the first Reaction I experienced from it. The second I had, ever had a woman go for a light hug, then melts in your arms? It's a wonderful feeling.

I have smelled both. Didn't really like Layton since it has a minty smell to it. But Pegasus blew me away. It has now become my signiture scent.
How long does it last for you?
I bought Layton today after having Layton sprayed on one arm and Pegasus on the other. Five hours later and Pegasus smells incredible! I'm going back to buy it tomorrow. I'm still happy with Layton I didn't like the opening of Pegasus, but after it dried down it just kept getting better over time.

I think both of these do different jobs tbh. One is fresh apples and citrus with a little musk, while the other is dank almonds and creamy vanilla. Both are very nice in their own right, but I much prefer Pegasus

I’ve played around with creed most of my life and just recently bought TF Ombré Leather and loved it so started searching for darker, deeper frags. Which brought me to PDM. I recently purchased Layton Exclusif and I get what you’re saying I now want to buy them all if the are even close to as good as Exclusif

I bought this on the blind and it's my favorite under Pegasus. Very manly, clean with some mystery. For some reason it reminds me of the good Drakkar from back in the day. Maybe just relating the black bottles but none the less. I will say it doesnt last as long as Pegasus which sucks as I wear it to work and cant smell it after lunch.

I’m sorry about your Pegasus duration. A majority of people I know that have it, including my self have a duration of at least 10 hours but sometimes even until the next day
Layton Exclusif which is more concentrated version of Layton Edp released in 2017, I bought it from Paris Gallery then applied it at 4pm and it dissappeared by 2 am so kinda lasts for 10 hrs only, and there was no projection after 20-35 minutes from which I'm the only one smelling this fragrance for the rest of the 9.5 hrs...close ppl standing by me couldn't catch the smell after 30 minutes unless they dig my clothes with their noses..Now I believe ppl get payed to hype over fragrances to market them...it's you tube indirect ads more than reviews..not just this gentle man over here I'm speaking in general..

Pegasus opening is very lotion like, like some kind of expensive almond hand lation, nothing special to MY NOSE. However the sour warm ambery drydown is very nice, i assume its amber.

I’ve recently bought Herod and Pegasus decanted from MaxAroma and I personally love Herod as my favorite so far but I’ve gotten at least a dozen compliments in just 2 days of wearing Pegasus with only 3 sprays around the neck. I’ll definitely buy a bottle of Pegasus. But I’ve never smelled Layton. I’ll try it and Oajan next.
I have Pegasus and honestly i have never smelled anything like it. It has its own signature kind of smell and its so good. People ask me all the time what im wearing. This is a no brainer cologne. Still havent smelled layton
I like parfums de marly , the problem in this house is that most of their products are winter_suitable. I found pegasus suitable for summer (i did not try all of their perfumes though)
I have both pegasus and layton. Pegasus is excellent for work more than layton and layton is better in celebrations and specific occasions. Layton is a kind of fragrance that may take weeks to discover it.

Love the house period....Layton and Nisean here lately. But during the winter and fall It was all about Herod,Oajan, and Pegasus. I sampled Habdaban which was a monster, definitely on my list.

Pegasus does not perform better than Layton, Layton gives u 8-10 hours, while Pegasus only gives u 4-6 hours
I have both as well as Herod, Carlisle and Ojan and Love them all I have yet to get my nose on Akaster so I'm not sure about that one but I'm not a real fan of the rest of the line as i don't care for Green or Fresh scents.
A pair of great fragrances bro, not sure if either are for me but they both smell amazing. Galloway is another good one along the lines of these 2

Would it a good idea for me to spend that much money on Layton, when I dont like JPG ultra male at all? Because as I have heard People say, it smells sweet and I dont Think Sweet fragrance are something for me. I like the original JPG tho, and Dior Savage and so on.. But for sure not JPG ultra male.

Layton wins by far. Not even close in terms of scent and or complements . Pegasus is a headache creator. Vanilla sweetness and that’s about it.
BTW, What is the term Banger describing. I'm new to the scent collecting world and I'm trying to identify what I should be looking for. I have so far picked up Pegasus, Aqua DIGio Profuomo (my 2 favorites} Bulgari Man in Black, Armani Code Profuomo,Spicebomb Extreme, LeMale and 1 Million Prive. The only one that hasnt grown on me is the Bulgari MIB. The tire scent and the scillage just didnt seem to work for me. Any suggestions? Is there a category of mens parfumes I should be looking for according to my picks above? I think I like spicy but then I think these are aquatics. I'm confused a bit. Anyhow thank you for your awesome reviews,Much Love....

Not a fan of Layton because it’s not unique at all.. Pegasus is my #1 right now and it definitely lasts 6-10hrs. My favorite fragrance 🔥
