@@GWS-72 its not working at all though.. few minutes and then, distortion.. The single core cpu just cant handle the high bandwidth is my guesstimation.
I hope you are right. However, as FIIO hasn't been able to provide sustainable BT connection for the UTWS3 nor for the UTWS5, the combined loss on those two sets almost pays for an Ifi Go Pod without the desillusion and frustration of the UTWS3 but with higher sound quality. I regretted it a lot, given my positive experiences with other FIIO gear. More secure =/= more comfortable Both are secure ENOUGH . Some say the fiio gets louder. Is that true? Fiio now has a parametric EQ. You can shape the low end to now match the go pods. Imo go pods should be around $200-$250. Not $400. For on the go, difference of sound quality is not noticeable when sound quality is beyond a certain point. For at home listening, then a wired setup with great dac would suffice.
Me too I have bought UTWS5 first version and the second version is no better Now upgraded to ifi Go Pod and no issues with charging yet I't been a week using them daily
They sound nice but they're kinda flimsy. My first set had a bit of the plastic break off where the two halves of the housing hold together after 3 days. My replacement set had the same thing happen after 1 day.
Wait, dont audiophiles bag on TWS because you basically halve the sound quality when going wireless? So making an IEM wireless, doesnt that just turn it into the equivalent of the best TWS...minus all the other benefits, like ANC, transparency and multipoint? So basically, spend just as much as the BnO Ex, B&W Pi7 s2 or Denon PerL Pro, but you also have to provide an additional IEM, and you still just match the sound quality, but with no EQ and with no ANC or transparency? The copium audiophiles have to ingest in order to get a wireless earbud is astounding.

I tried this with the Meze Advar at Axpona and they sounded pretty good, but I couldn't get along with the fit. It fits noticeably differently than the UTWS3/5, and it didn't really work for my ears, personally.
They're definitely a lot tighter than I expected, so I can see how others would have fit problems. Hopefully you can find better success when FiiO inevitably releases the UTWS7
I have a UTWS5 and upgraded to the ifi Go Pod and I too have issues with the fit. It hurts after like an hour wearing them but I realized as I kept wearing them everyday, they hurt less and less now I can go 2 hours with no pain. I still prefer the comfort of my UTWS5 though
the elephant in the room.... its the batteries... the case battery, and the ear piece batteries... they aren't user replaceable and when one of those batteries goes dead then that expensive wireless solution is worthless... if they would just put in a user replaceable battery in there then the price would be justified... but they didn't...
I will wait for the Fiio utws7. I hope it will have LDAC. But for sure it will be smaller and cheaper.
It's definitely going to be interesting to see how FiiO tries to one up GO Pods!
UTWS5 hav now ldac. I updated the control app and now they have ldac.

I don't jog or go to gym but I found these TWS modules much more convenient no wires to worry about and they have a pretty long battery life
Wired will always sound best, and no batteries draining to 'worry' about.

Is there a delay in the sound? Is it suitable for movies?

Very much obliged Sir
Is it a recommendation to use for Meze Rai Penta?
Hi i have a pair of Shure SE846, interested to any thoughts vs Shure TWS gen 2
The fiio UTWS5's are trash. Has nothing but issues with mine. One of them stops charging and won't connect anymore it's a joke...

can these push the Ikko OH7 ? ....It's a single DD IEM with 90 Ohm Impedance .....
How is the mic quality?
Our testing on the microphone was limited, but our impression was that it was on par with most TWS mic quality, if not a little bit above average.

this sir, is pure gold! 😂
Why not both.
If anc is needed get a Sony or air pods.
If you fancy hearing all of your music, get iem wireless as well.

Good review. But that ifi go pod pro is huge and looks awkward or cumbersome to the user.
nearly 3 x the price of the FiiO ? and NO app ? nah
Does the transparency mode on par with airpods pro 2?
There is no transparency mode.
