Your PEQ settings are a major improvement on the Deuce. They remove the harshness in the high frequencies, bring back the missing midrange, and take some of the bloat out of the bass. Well done!
Really enjoying your tuning, thanks so much for sharing. I did turn down 6.20k to 2.3 gain and 10k to 3.3 gain, this reduced some treble harshness for many tracks in my music library but others certainly sound better on your original settings. There really is no perfect tuning for all tracks.
I listen to a little bit of everything, but mainly I listen to heavy metal, death metal type of music, so a lot of fast drums, cymbals etc. with your EQ I feel the music is more engaging. It feels a bit more opened up. I noticed it particularly when you hear the cymbals. It has a shine to it with your EQ. I have always heard people say things like "this iem is great for metal" but I feel like some may be to bright. Some may be too muddy/congested. Some don't have the separation and some don't have that airy shine to it.

Really depends on your definition of Fun. Most people use Fun to describe a tuning that isn't neutral. Has a lot of bass and Treble. I found this very neutral, but not boring or safe if you will. It has good slam and bass feel due to the dedicated DD for the low end.
Makes no sense for people to copy the eq. 1 depends on the eq of rhe dap. Unless it's a sone that has the best eq. 2nd is that the uppers mids and treble for up 2db for each 10db the volume goes up because of the high frequency does not required air. The best is to tune them with filters. Inside the nozzle sponge density or mesh outside grill for the perfect tuning according to the volume. So when inhear peolle copying eq. Makes me laugh. And yes. Mib bass needs to be there if the volume goes up ton85db and above. Otherwise wounds to thin.
I can give you several examples that put this into perspective. When musicians are in the recording studio, the monitor speakers play back the recording session. The sound engineer mixes this with EQ electronically, not physically with filters. When you have a home stereo with speakers you usually have at least a Bass and Treble dial, if not a mids or even a full EQ, to tune it in electronically, you don't use physical filters. What we're doing here is no different. It's elevating and reducing specific frequencies and ranges. PEQ is also more powerful that regular EQ. The Q value allows for width. So you get any given frequency, gain value and then width. The higher the Q value the narrower the frequency spread. So a Q value of 0.50 has a broad range impact, where as a Q value of 2 is very specific to a small range, concentrated if you will. The trick is finding the right settings. Most folks are used to seeing EQ settings for Rock or Pop etc. that look like a wave. This is very generic. The PEQ settings I create are used on a broad range of sources. I use the FiiO K19 desktop DAC, ifi Go Pods, iBasso DX320MAX Ti, DX240 and FiiO M17 DAPs. I can tell you that the IEM's sound a bit different depending on the source and the PEQ values, as a constant, will also sound slightly different depending on the source. Where things get very interesting is when I use Mango Player on the DX320MAX Ti Class A DAP. This is the cleanest reproduction of the lossless flac files. The PEQ settings in Mango are difficult. Only 6 bands, so I have to work within those constraints to compress what I've learned in Poweramp and K19 DSP. But I can tell you I've had EXCELLENT results and feedback on the settings I've come up with. Mark DeVitre from the Watercooler has sent me about 8 or 9 TOTL IEM sets to do my tuning on them. He's been super happy with the results, as it breaths new life into these sets. @Ducbloke it makes sense if you have the peq eq and dac. But for a dap, it's impossible that solution. I agree with what you said. But was mention dap player and not dac, so I was thinking m how can we transport that perfect eq to the dap. Unless we have a sony dap or the other dap that I forgot the name that has peq eq.
