Lydia I have had cats all my life and let me just tell you that you are absolutely right! Cats do not care whether that is a kitchen surface or any other surface! They are always curious too and want to be in the midst of the action! So thank you for explaining yourself but I’m sure every person who owns a cat knows this to be true! Love you so much Lydia and love how much you care about your fur babies!

Anemone We tried this with our tabby cat. Turns out he likes water and this has now become a game which encourages him to jump on the counter so he can get sprayed.
I found the water mister terrified my cats so much that they were distrustful for hours afterwards. But when I changed to simply saying no and putting them back on the floor, they learnt within the week. But yes, you can definitely train them if you have the patience and watch their individual behaviours
We have two that we trained to stay off, and one asshat who simply refuses lol
Agree. Our cats aren’t allowed on the counters and yet they still. jump up there when we aren’t in the room and during the night. I’ve never seen them run so fast as when we surprise them and catch them on the counter.

Hi Lydia, I suffered dry skin around my mouth that looked like a rash. It turned out I wasn’t drinking enough water & then few month later I discovered a kidney stone. All went so well, I m great! I never had this dry skin in the sides of my mouth ever again after starting to drink proper amounts of water. So try to drink more water. Take care xo

As a cat owner myself, I know how difficult it is to train cats not to jump on every surface and go into every room but what has worked for me is to keep a consistent attitude, that means to always say "no" when they do it and to reward them when they do what you say. It sure takes a lot of time (cats are no dogs after all) but after years of training I can say my cat is well behaved! Anyway, I love your furry babies and I really enjoy your videos 💕

I totally get you, I have 5 cats and 5 kids. I used to be a mass cleaner always chasing them all around cleaning after them. I just had to realize for my own sanity I needed to just let them be them within reason and clean when I could. Also chasing cats off stuff yea right, that's never going to work at all.

I was really tiny when we got my two cats so I can't remember much about their first years but something my parents did must have trained them and they never jump onto the surfaces but that's not for lack of trying!! They're straight up there if we aren't in the room!! They're cunning little buggers!! I absolutely adore how you speak about them like children and love them so much!!

Lydia I also have 2 cats. The female takes a telling and NEVER goes on the kitchen worktops but her brother does what he likes! There’s not much else you can do apart from what you are already doing. ❤️❤️
I presume the whole idea of making a living from social media is that people interact with good or bad comments. Not easy I know but par for the job. Stay strong Lydia. Not everyone we interact with will like us. Not important as long as we like ourselves.
