I had micro needling with heat (RF) two treatments and noticed zero change. Additionally, there was fat loss. I also am skeptical, however I want to remain hopeful. Right around my mouth is my biggest issue and I can’t afford to loose any fat in those exact places.

OMG!!!! This is FASCINATING!!! I would so appreciate your take on this UltraClear vs Fraxel. About a month back I had a Visia scan and lurking beneath the surface are some particularly awful sun spots. I saw my brand new derm last week and when she sees me next month (full body skin check) she will discuss the possibility of Fraxel to deal with 'what lies beneath'. Would UltraClear also do this. Also, if you wouldn't mind asking the company, can this be used on the neck? I have quite a bit of laxity there and can't really afford a neck lift yet.
Without being dramatic, these results are almost a miracle for only having one treatment! I would do this in hearbeat! Hopefully, in short order there will be more providers with this modality. There are very few in the US!! Closest to me is 700 miles.
It is a cold ablative laser, so certain settings is less heat... but it still generates some heat. That being said...it doesn't go deep into the adipose layer of the skin so shouldn't effect the volume in your face.
I have the same question. I'm THINKING .. & I guess I shouldn't.. but I'm thinking yes. Only because she mentioned that the 1 girl said her face felt hot. & Then I believe this lady said "because of the heat". Hummmm. ❤
Hi Patti 🩷 The person above who answered is Dr Abraham 😍 She is my trusted resource and kindly answering questions here. I did also ask the company prior to publishing this video and their answer was (quote) My question was: Is there any risk of facial fat loss with UltraClear? Their answer: No we have had zero cases of facial fat loss with UltraClear laser. I realize that shouldn’t isn’t couldn’t, I get that. But at this point the science says it shouldn’t and their cases haven’t shown so it would appear it doesn’t affect fat. This is always my #1 question because it concerns everyone so much 🩷🩷
Thank you so much for this video! This laser has been on my radar for a while! I have acne scarring and the laser coring mode looks so promising! I just need to get rid of my active acne and then I will book for sure. Thanks for making these videos, I have been following you for a while and you always make very informative content!
So exciting to see new laser treatments are available to give similar results to CO2 and ER Yag with out the down time! Thanks for sharing this Penn. 💜
Thank you so much for providing information about a laser that is safe for all skin types and the link to check for providers in your area. I am Skin Type V and have been so hesitant to get any laser procedures for fear of skin damage. I looked up providers in the Atlanta,GA area and found ONLY one that is about 30mins from me. He also had a TH-cam channel showing him administratering the treatment to patients with my skin type! I am so very excited to go for a consultation regarding this procedure! THANKS AGAIN for being such a positive, ethical and inclusive wealth of knowledge on this platform for every skin type. 🎉❤
It friends on the intensity. The 3d miracl isn't painful (we still use numbing cream just to keep people comfortable during the procedure). But it still feels like an intense sunburn for 2 hours afterwards. For more intense treatments, we offer injectable numbing, cold air, and laughing gas.
Wow, amazing results! Thanks for this video. I checked the website and my favorite derm in Minneapolis has this. Not surprised since he has been on the cutting edge for years and has been involved in many clinical trials. For anyone in the Midwest I highly recommend Zel Skin!
That you for the recommendation! I was just searching and that is the closest one to me at 4.5 hours. (Im on the MI/WI border) Wondering how much this treatment costs?
@@life_with_sunshine You must be in or near the UP? I suggest you call their Edina location to ask about cost. I've been there a few times and the staff is great.
I was thinking the same thing but I think I’ll let this technology be used a little longer before I let them touch my mocha brown face . I’m definitely going to keep I eye on it I’m 44 and hope to try this on my 50th or dinner if Penn is still raving about it
@@angelac1453 That's fair 😂 I'm barely in my 30's so I'm hoping that by the time I feel the need for something like this we'll have a lot more examples on skin tones like mine, definitely going to keep it on my radar
I haven't looked for B/A on this laser with specifically darker fitz skin tones so they may be out there... but.. She said its possible to use this laser on darker skin but she didnt say they actually tested it on them. That is a red flag to me. The laser touts being a "cold laser" but it is still causing a thermal (heat) injury. Also a red flag. I would definitely want to see it used specifically on darker skin types to ensure the outcome is equal to those of a lighter skin tone with no damage. I was an RN/esthetician for many years and can hear thru the excitement on new modalities like this. And she has a bit bias when it comes to procedures/complications being that she has fairer skin. I do, however, trust her and her opinions on skincare very much ❤❤❤❤
@@src3360-I so appreciate your comment. I have PIH from “professional” PRF micro needling. I’m still trying to reverse the effects of it, and it’s been months.
Thanks Penn… you always have the best info. I sent my derm the name of the laser and she said it’s been around a long time and not new or groundbreaking. But I noticed you said it also does the coring but without the scars. My friend did elacore 4 months ago and still has track marks!!!
The type of laser (erbium) has been around for a long time but this laser uses new tech that applies heat and lack of heat differently. It also does laser coring which is very new. Its a new laser, a big update on a tech that has been around a long time 😊😊
Definitely a big difference. There are times where the after barely changed or they use a filter so I’m glad to hear from you to see it for yourself. Yay! Thank you for talking about this
So appreciate you sharing this new treatment the results are simply amazing ! Will be looking into seeing if this is available in Australia..thank you Penny for another super informative video 💚
Love this!! Thank you for sharing - better yet, thank you for the many months of your involvement in producing such value to share with us! I do have a question....are there treatments for the neck or entire body?? Thanks and stay awesome
Absolutely treatments for the neck and body! In fact, I’ll be covering the neck soon 🩷 I know that Dr Abraham just did someone’s neck with coring and resurfacing and the patient took daily pics and is happy to share her results in the future 😁
Hello beautiful Penny! I hope you’re doing well! Thank you so much for showing these impressive results! I went to see a dermatologist and she said I would need two different types of laser… one for sun damage and another for the redness. Plus it might take several times for each to get full results. Of course this would be very expensive and I just can’t afford it! I have spent so much money over the years on creams, serums and potions that haven’t worked that I could have used that money for the lasers by now or a new face lol.. Have a fabulous week ❤
This is so interesting! I had a Halo Laser treatment done about a year ago and unfortunately I was one of those whose melasma became worse instead of better. This cold laser option looks like something that could potentially help me. Thank you for sharing!
Halo laser was not good for me either….i swelled so badly i had to get prednisone and then I didn’t see anything but a little extra pigment….not what I was going for! I’m so sorry it wasn’t great for you either!
You could try IPL…find a provider who would test a spot for you…I noticed a big difference within 2 treatments…I have now had 5 treatments over the past year & mine is reduced by 75%. But you have to be stealthy about sunscreen as the melasma will darken with sun exposure. Also, have you tried Ambi cream?
Thanks Penn - this is great timing as I am about to have a consult for C02.. I just went on to the Ultra Clear website and there weren't any providers in my area . The largest area that could be searched on the website is a distance of up to 50 miles (from the zip code you enter). I'd love to know if there are any providers on the east coast. It would be great to be able to search a broader area on the website, if you can give that feedback to the company. Thanks again!
Penny what things at home or office , and which one is your top recommendation (aside from face lift😉) , are most effective for the sagging that is happening in our upper 40s? Nasal fold & pre-joweling- bleh ☺️ This treatment looks impressive I’m just not sure if it’s most effective for this AND bc I dont have money to play with various procedures I definitely need to choose something that definitely works for the laxity issue Ty 💞
Great report - thanks for sharing. My only comment is the first patient’s skin looks more than 'a little sunburned on day 1 & 2' - it more like beef carpaccio. But things heal up REALLY well. Lasers scare me for good reason - but I'll keep an open mind.
Wow what the results I sold on that. If I go for extreme one, I might end up looking back in my 30’s , cause I am not too bad yet, but with hormones depleting, and I just chose not to use hormone therapies, this would be the answer. I was planning to get maybe clear and brilliant laser and ez prf gel treatment, but if I can financially , I think this the place to start, and then add others🤔 ? Have a blessed day🙏❤️

Hi! Great information and excited to see there is a doctor in Florida that does this. One correction though, in your description you have his city as Noynton Beach and it should be Boynton Beach, FL.
This looks incredible. I'm 64 with pretty good skin, but some age spots and melasma and I'd love to have this done, however, due to POTS, I have a pacemaker. Do you know if this laser is safe with a device? Thank you so much. ❤
Hi Penn! Thanks so much for all you share with us in your videos! My question is how this laser compares to results from Fraxel? I recently had Fraxel done and had similar results. Do you feel the results with this laser are better?
I think fraxel is amazing. I think that this can do a little more than fraxel and it can do it with less potential downsides for people with darker skin. But I do think Fraxel is an awesome treatment, so excited that you got great results! That’s wonderful to hear 😍🩷
Yes!! I asked about that in a follow up email and I was told they don’t claim to improve glycated skin but they have seen it in many cases. Really impressive because it’s very hard to treat!
Wow! What an amazing transformation. I am very interested in the procedure. How long do these results last? Will I need treatments every couple years? Thank you so much for sharing this....I am very interested in having this done.
Love the results , I research right away in my state for prices but sadly nothing in Utah , maybe will take a few months to be available in the west. thanks
Hi there! Do you think this is the most effective treatment that you've seen? I recall that you were pretty impressed by one that was done in England, I think. How does that compare? Thank you so much for your videos! You're my favorite ☺
What a great video!! Penn, can you please do a video on neogen PSR? The results are similar to this, just as jaw dropping with similar (lack of) downtime. I wonder if it’s similar technology being used?
I actually had a very similar treatment ten years ago. I didn’t work. The dermatologist repeated it-no results. He performed the treatment a third time for half price-no results. Then a fourth time at no charge-finally lost ONE wrinkle from my upper lip. HE called it a victory. I was DEEPLY disappointed, also saddened that he claimed the skin on the neck could not tolerate this, because I did have a little hyperpigmentation on the sides of my neck, despite sunscreen-as well as surgical scarring from having discs removed.
Im so glad Im following you. You explain everything so clearly and you keep expectations realistic. (I think someone mentioned your name on Reddit in a skin care group that I'm in. That's how I found you.) This seems like it would be even better than the plasma pen - that this technique goes deeper. For someone with thin skin and who scars easily is there any concern with that? I would like to have my under eye (wrinkles and sagging) and crow's feet wrinkles done. Looks like the closest place from me is 4.5 hours away.
As always, thank you so much for being a trust worthy source of innovation. Really appreciate your quality content. Would this be more effective than C02 laser that requires light anesthesia by chance please? I got a cool peel C02 laser and it was nice yet heard the highest level of C02 was better than the one not requiring anesthesia. Hope you’re having a great start to your year.
These are amazing results. I'm a baby and wouldn't be able to go through with it. Penn have you heard of a laser facial? I'm thinking of getting this done but not sure it's worth it
Wow! Fantastic results! One thing I’m wondering about the microcoring part of their treatment, I’m wondering if the after effects are akin to Ellacor? I had Ellacor around the mouth and for the longest time was left with a reddish-purplish hue above my lips. Wondering if this device has the same sort of side effect?
This is really cool! I’m interested in a consult for sure but I don’t have significant skin damage - I guess the practitioner would be able to tell me if I’m a good candidate for this? There are so many options these days, it seems.
You could do the lower settings for collagen stimulation... more for overall tone and texture. But if it's more than what you need... there are lots of other options for collagen stimulation. ❤
I am having the Ultra Clear Lazer treatment because i saw this video! What are your thoughts on using my OPNILUX Red light mask to help in the healing after? Thank you sooo much!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful miracles which in fact this treatment is..do you have someone doing these procedures in the San Antonio TX area.. thank you in advance and look forward to seeing more of your videos
I see how this can address multiple issues as well as laxity issues which is addressed with thermage. How does this compare to thermage in terms of the type of damage/remodeling it’s creating?
Would this laser work for people with malsma? I cannot do lasers because it just creates more pigment in my skin with the heat. I have had photo facials that had fantastic results within a couple months only to have rebound hyperpigmentation come back. Please do a follow up with the girl with melasma
We are about 4 months out from case 2 (in the video) and her melasma never flared, it hasn’t rebounded at all. In fact, her skin just continues to improve over time. This is a treatment that can be done on skin with melasma. There are precautions that are still important to take, like pretreating the skin. Typically melasma skin will get lighter treatments and more of them versus one big treatment. This helps avoid flares too 🩷🩷
I love learning about and doing new non surgical treatments. My favorite being the CO2. I’ve recently heard about Age Jet; however, I need more information. In your opinion what treatment is the best non surgical laser treatment?
Not 100% related to this video, but I have a question 🙋🏻♀️ As a person suffering from a mild case of Ehlers-Danlos, I have just had a facelift, which I am extremely happy with however, my skin is still a bit loose and I’m looking for advice on which in office treatments would be best for me to research in order to keep my skin as tight as possible until the next time I need to go under the knife again to remove more skin. I have most all the at home devices but looking for quarterly treatments to keep my skin in the best possible condition. Thanks a ton in advance. 😊
Thanks so much for this info! I’m going to get a referral and have this done, if I’m a good candidate. I’m in NY if you have any referrals and/or any tips. So grateful for you!💕
Thank you so much for this incredible video! This laser treatment sounds amazing and the results look phenomenal! Thank you for providing information about who offers this treatment. 💖
Wow, those are impressive results! Thank you for including the beautiful woman with melasma! I have light leftover melasma spots from my recent pregnancy and I've been stumped about what is possible to do. I use a red light panel for general recovery and I've been avoiding it near my face in case it makes the melasma worse...? Any thoughts?
Some people have hd luck with over the counter Ambi cream…but check with your doctor first..also, be diligent with sunscreen, as it may darken with sun exposure and future pregnancies. I have had good luck with a few IPL treatments, but would wait until you are done with childbearing.
Wow…that’s pretty crazy. Nothing here in Indiana was curious. But how long would something like that would last before you needed to go back? Enjoy your journey in life and keep sharing please your exciting new discoveries..
Regardless of the name cold ablative laser still create heat and any woman over 50 can't afford to loose facial fat because the aging not only refers to skin, bones get smaller so tightening will just be a very costly temporary solution
Absolutely there is still heat. But not at the point of ablation. The heat is deposited in the dermal layer where it can stimulate collagen. Tightening isn’t all this laser does. Lifting pigment, improving texture and improving tone also contribute to healthy beautiful skin. Laser is just one way to get there but it’s valuable. And it’s all temporary. *We* are temporary.

I would like to know about the neck area also! I’m definitely interested in
Without being dramatic, these results are almost a miracle for only having one treatment! I would do this in hearbeat! Hopefully, in short order there will be more providers with this modality. There are very few in the US!! Closest to me is 700 miles.
Come visit us in Oregon! 😄
Because this is cold, does it eliminate risk of facial fat loss vs energy devices that use heat?
It is a cold ablative laser, so certain settings is less heat... but it still generates some heat. That being said...it doesn't go deep into the adipose layer of the skin so shouldn't effect the volume in your face.
I have the same question. I'm THINKING .. & I guess I shouldn't.. but I'm thinking yes. Only because she mentioned that the 1 girl said her face felt hot. & Then I believe this lady said "because of the heat". Hummmm. ❤
@@SherwoodAestheticMedicine thank you!
Shouldn't doesn't mean couldn't, respectfully. I'd like to hear a yes or no from Penn.
Hi Patti 🩷
The person above who answered is Dr Abraham 😍
She is my trusted resource and kindly answering questions here.
I did also ask the company prior to publishing this video and their answer was (quote)
My question was:
Is there any risk of facial fat loss with UltraClear?
Their answer:
No we have had zero cases of facial fat loss with UltraClear laser.
Only 30 minutes away? That is so exciting!!!
Would you please share the link of his TH-cam channel . I also have brown skin .
Do you mind sharing his name? I’m looking for someone in the Atlanta area.
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this treatment and checking it out so thoroughly. This is something i would do, i want results without surgery.
I’ll pretty much do any skin treatment you’re doing because you look so amazing!

Thank you, how kind of you!
Totally agree! It’s like Penny is aging in reverse. I’m such a fan and so appreciative of her help and information.
So sad no facility available in my area but you are a whiz at finding what’s going to make us happy in the future. Thanks again, Penny❤
This is exciting! One question I have is about the pain level. (Yes, I am a wimp lol) Is it more painful than a deep peel perhaps? Thanks, Penny!
It friends on the intensity. The 3d miracl isn't painful (we still use numbing cream just to keep people comfortable during the procedure). But it still feels like an intense sunburn for 2 hours afterwards. For more intense treatments, we offer injectable numbing, cold air, and laughing gas.
Depends* 🤦🏼♀️
Thanks so much for letting me know! @@SherwoodAestheticMedicine
@@maryannkastorff9680 yes! Im in the UP - Ironwood. I'll give them a call 😊
These results are amazing! I'm so happy to see something that's also safe for darker skin tones and that the treatment intensity is customizable.

Its a new laser, a big update on a tech that has been around a long time 😊😊
I’m in, making an appointment Monday, only 40 minutes from my house in NE

I just started watching him!!
So cool!
Definitely a big difference. There are times where the after barely changed or they use a filter so I’m glad to hear from you to see it for yourself. Yay! Thank you for talking about this
I agree! And the first case “after” is only 20 days post treatment, she will see more improvement over the next 3+ months. She’s so happy 😍

Love this!! Thank you for sharing - better yet, thank you for the many months of your involvement in producing such value to share with us! I do have a question....are there treatments for the neck or entire body?? Thanks and stay awesome
Absolutely treatments for the neck and body!

❤👍😍 Wow wow wow! Before & after pics are AMAZING and it smooths the upper lip?! SOLD!
(Now to start saving. Lol)Thank you Penny! ❤
Wow…these results are incredible! 🤯 Thanks for sharing! 😉
These are incredible results thanks for sharing this info Penn!
I am soooo excited for this treatment!!!! Thank you for sharing!!
Just change the zip codes for each new search :-)
I agree with this comment…I tried searching a few zip codes and couldn’t find a provider…
How would this compare to Tixel? Do you think one would yield better results than the other?
I have same question!
I like these type of videos. Good information.
Thank you! Yay 😁
Penny what things at home or office , and which one is your top recommendation (aside from face lift😉) , are most effective for the sagging that is happening in our upper 40s? Nasal fold & pre-joweling- bleh ☺️
This treatment looks impressive I’m just not sure if it’s most effective for this AND bc I dont have money to play with various procedures I definitely need to choose something that definitely works for the laxity issue
Ty 💞
Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I have been looking for something for my 67-year-old skin and I think I found it! Is that first person in your video one treatment one time? Stunning results ❤

Don’t we produce less collagen/elastin as we age? I’m wondering if these collagen-inducing treatments are less effective for women over 65?
what blew my mind was the amount of glycation that was erased in one treatment. incredible!
also thank you @penn.smith.skincare for featuring lasers that work effectively on all (Fitzpatrick) skin tones
Yes!! I asked about that in a follow up email and I was told they don’t claim to improve glycated skin but they have seen it in many cases. Really impressive because it’s very hard to treat!

Cold is important to me. I had thermal oblasion used for acne scars and ended up with tons of whiteheads and textured skin at my jawline. Thanks Penn.
Ahhh I’m so sorry! It’s such a bummer when we not only don’t get the desired results but we get negative results 😔
Wow! What an amazing transformation. I am very interested in the procedure. How long do these results last? Will I need treatments every couple years? Thank you so much for sharing this....I am very interested in having this done.
Love the results , I research right away in my state for prices but sadly nothing in Utah , maybe will take a few months to be available in the west. thanks
This looks like a better alternative than Ellacor. I will keep it in mind in the future. I'd like to see results on the neck, too.
Thank you for this....amazing...I will be checking with my MD/spa derm. Wonderful results
So sorry it didn’t work for you! That’s so frustrating 😔
Im so glad Im following you. You explain everything so clearly and you keep expectations realistic. (I think someone mentioned your name on Reddit in a skin care group that I'm in. That's how I found you.)
This seems like it would be even better than the plasma pen - that this technique goes deeper.
There's the old co2 laser that is full ablation with a 2-4 week downtime vs CoolPeel c02 which is a week downtime.
omg this is amazing!! I need to try. Hopefully we have this in Montreal 🤞🏻
Awesome video with great information! Breath taking after photos. Thank you for posting this vidoe series. THank you, Penn
These are amazing results. I'm a baby and wouldn't be able to go through with it. Penn have you heard of a laser facial? I'm thinking of getting this done but not sure it's worth it
Amazing. How well do you think someone who is post-menopausal, no HRT, and collagen deficient would respond? :)
What a great question! I’d like to know this, as well.
Thank you Penny, I'm definitely going to look into this! ❤❤❤
I really don’t think I could stand the pain from the laser! Wish I could. Much Love
DR Gretzula is in Boynton Beach, NOT Notnton Beach, lol! Can't wait to try this myself!
