Man, I remember when we both got our Wii Us on launch day. So exciting, but ultimately so very disappointing. Hardly any games, and no Conduit 3! Damn you VHS studios! However, the system had excellent 2D platformers and Nintendo Land is fun if you don't try to complete it 100%. The Switch launch was excellent and we had tons of games to play online until Friday the 13th more or less shut down. The hardware has absolutely atrocious reliability though.
I'm still holding out hope for a sci-fi or fantasy shooter on Switch 2 with pointer controls in the style of Conduit 2. I don't think there'll ever be another Conduit game, but I hope we get something that scratches the same itch someday. Metroid Prime Remastered at least proved you can have Wiimote-style control schemes with the Joy-Cons! The Wii U definitely could have had more games, but it was also pretty underrated in its time, in my opinion. Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 were so good they almost singlehandedly justified owning the system for me lol. I don't think there's much reason for most people to own a Wii U today though, since the Switch has had nearly the entire first party Wii U library ported to it now.
Congrats on 15 years of TH-cam, Keet and Bait!

Metroid Prime 4 should have those same controls so that's pretty cool.
@@WatchmeplayNintendo It's probably a long shot but I would love it if they also brought back multiplayer.
